Nyjer Morgan would be a stellar Game 5 guy for the first pitch. I don’t know why he would be a weird standalone guy. He has one of the biggest moments in Brewers history to his name and did so in the NLDS.
Where was everyone jumping to conclusions? I have the right to wonder...I think. I don't recall demanding any information or anyone else for that matter. For that matter I hope Jeffress is okay first and foremost. Whatever may have happened I am glad to know it wasn't some major deal that required information to be released etc. Obviously Jeffress has been through a lot in the past and I hope he can keep his ship righted.
You can't just drive in and pay the attendants? From what I read, no, everything on ballpark app. I am guessing they are limited on employees these days since this isn't exactly planned.
I had someone buy my Johnsonville tickets via Craigslist this morning...$225 a piece. Must not have checked prices this morning. On another note standing room has to stay on the concourse though...which is kind of crummy as you can't see the field very well. There are a few different STO spots in the stadium, but they get crowded fast. STO down to $39 per ticket for tomorrow.
They didn’t collapse, we just flat out when steamrolling and forced the Cubs into a crapshoot pair of games. They just weren’t that good and obviously fatigued. I would not call it a collapse...but they definitely slowed down a lot. Collapse would have been like 11-17 to end the year. They were 16-12 in September.
I get that, but Quintana would be on four days rest. These guys are very much creatures of habit, so that may throw off his routine. I’d take Quintana on one leg against the Brewers. They are pitching their starters in the WC game and they are doing just fine.
This sounds about right. Hendricks Monday. Could Hendricks pitch Thursday? Maybe they would prefer him. Maybe they do a weird set up with Hamels/Hendricks Thursday. Neither would need to start again in the NLDS.
I don’t see how this is really benefitting the Brewers so far. No reliever has gone 2 innings...big whoop then. The Cubs screwing with their rotation pieces might do something positive if they win, but outside of that no real gain happening here. There is still an off day tomorrow.
Man this tie game has me thinking about buying Sunday tickets if the Cubs win...but a bunch of rain in the weekend forecast makes me want to puke thinking about it. This is why Miller Park is better. Always a game, no rain BS to worry about.
I hated the designs and am annoyed by the game times taking a lot of wind out of my sail. Was planning to buy at one of the games...now I will wait for the NLCS where I can attend or just wait for clearance after we lose in the NLDS. I think it’s all god awfully overpriced...would just buy a T-Shirt.
