  1. Crazy to think about where we would be without Wade Miley. Who started his journey here a total afterthought AAA depth value. We probably aren’t even where we are right now without him and our 13-4 record in games he pitches.
  2. Suter has been in the dugout every game of the postseason. He's not there today? He wasn’t suppose to be in the dugout last night.
  3. Why not have our lefties facing a lefty bunt? Moustakas and Shaw both bunt and boom...two on one out. Instead, garbage ABs.
  4. Hoping last night was a sign this offense is coming alive right when we need it to. Couldn’t have asked for yesterday to go much better (realistically).
  5. Gio Gonzalez in Game 1 of the NLCS against Kershaw...honestly I can't help but laugh at it. It is kind of sad to think 2/3 of our NLCS rotation is Gio Gonzalez and Wade Miley. At the same time simply incredible we even got here depending on guys like that who came here prett much washed up. That being said both have put up insane numbers for us and that is all that matters right now. Over 200 innings I would laugh and say we are doomed...but its all about small samples at this point!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
  6. I saw someone post online about the redemption process and it honestly sounds like you can buy three other tickets with it...even the World Series no problem. He requested one of the World Series games and he gets "best available" after whatever has priority before him. Which I assume is whatever MLB gets and anyone who bought their postseason strip. He probably gets in before any pre sale. Makes me want to get one for the future. I actually almost bought one a few months ago, but I just didn't know what the process would actually be like trying to redeem it for a World Series game.
  7. This is a slow news day article. It means nothing and this stuff happens every year. No one gets upset when they can't interview elsewhere. It is only frowned upon in the NFL when a low level coach is denied interviewing for a big time gig...that kind of stuff is pretty frowned upon. This lateral move stuff? Meh, no biggie denying the interview.
  8. I think a lot of people are waiting and hoping prices drop. I'm anticipating terrace seats and SRO going as low as 60-70 bucks for Friday and 80 for Saturday.quote] I would have to agree on the terrace tickets. Those are sure to see a nice plummet...maybe not that low, but definitely under $100. While some of the deals got plucked today it has started to stall again. FOB should dip under $200 at some point and it wouldn't shock me if bleacher tickets go down towards $150 or even $125 for ones farther in the back. I typically scout out some tickets I like and watch them. You will see which people are scared their tickets won't sell and they will change the price a lot. I typically can figure out which ones are going to have a big drop that will need to be scooped up really fast if I want them.
  9. Anyone still looking for tickets keep an eye on Stubhub often. Some solid deals have popped up all day. Finally pulled the trigger on some RF front row seats when the price dropped a ton...though now the price is back up to almost $240 with fees which I found interesting.
  10. Ticket prices really started to fall tonight for Game 1. That may have to do with Stubhubs system where you can opt in to have your price start falling when Gametime gets closer. I will wait it out tomorrow and see if any nice deals show up. If not I will snag some terrace Friday morning. Minimum cost has gone from about $115 before fees to $82 now.
  11. Give it time. They don’t all release at once. Complain to them if you don’t see them tomorrow morning.
  12. I think he understands he is flowing in money. What’s the point in cashing out? Great owner who loves to win. Running a team how it should be ran. As a business, but still understand the toy aspect.
  13. I think not trading for one of these guys will really come back to haunt us as a "what if" if we don't win it all. Just a guess. Easy to say not to trade a big chunk of the farm for one of these guys until we get oh so close and miss out. Going up against some of the rotations we are to see from here on out a guy like one of the Mets aces would have been huge. Can you imagine one of these guys starting three games for us in this series? I get that neither was assured to pitch great for us (could have been terrible), but it will at least make you wonder if we lose one of the next two series.
  14. It would be cool if they let the fans party on the field after a WS win once players have safely gone to the clubhouse. Of course it would never happen for safety reasons...but it would be pretty awesome.
  15. Except they outnumber the full-season ticket holders about 20-1, so yeah, they are the backbone. Also, you cannot pick any 20 games. The games are placed into buckets and you can only pick so many from each bucket. I realize that, but you have so many options you can get 20 good games easily. Don't even need a single April weekday game. When I was considering it I could have loaded up on Cubs games, weekends, giveaway days...etc.
  16. The true backbone are all the people dishing out money for full year plans. The terrace level 20 game holders? Hardly...not much sacrifice there even in a non-playoff year. Those tickets are easily worth the price you pay if you value any of the benefits. You get to pick your games and can pretty much make all 20 pretty good games. In a playoff year? Highway robbery of a deal. I think their system is broken. For the NLDS a SSH with two seats could get their two seats, plus 4 in the presale, plus 4 in the Wisconsin only sale, and then 4 more when it went general public. 14 tickets? I definitely think one should get the ability to add onto their SSH seats in a presale, but why are they allowed to do it 3 times? All of those seats are going to be in 4 separate places. Heck if they had another account that wasn't their SSH one they could have gotten another 4 through the insider sale. The amount of tickets that were bought purely to go on Stubhub a second later is a travesty. I don't blame people for turning around to make $1,000+ with a few clicks...that is the Brewers fault for allowing. So don't take this as I am telling people what to do with there tickets (set the ban hammer down)...I blame the Brewers for allowing it to happen.
  17. Yankees obviously. Astros/Red Sox are pretty even at that point. It’s the World Series.
  18. I can’t even imagine doing SRO. Sometimes I will stand and watch during a normal regular season game while walking around and it bugs me at 6’2”! A sold out stadium with SRO actually sold?! I can’t even fathom attempting it.
  19. Why do you say that, just curious? It's the way they've won games all year, and there's not going to be an offensive explosion in this series. I see no reason why they can't win four games 2-1, 3-2, etc. It's who they are. Because we aren't going to win constantly the same way. The pitching is well overdue for a bit of struggle and the Dodgers have a deep offense. Educated prediction...n one knows how or what it will take to win. Offense will need some explosive game to win it all. The pitching isn't going to dominate forever.
  20. Which is absolutely stupid. There is no reason they should be able to do that and then double dip in all the other presales just to flip them for profit.
  21. I don't find the 2008 banner embarrassing even now. We got into the postseason and got to play in the divisional series right away. Just as good as the division winners. That is TOTALLY DIFFERENT than now. Now...pretty cringy.
  22. Well you would get first dibs in the pre sale as a 20+ game or more holder? Wouldn't you? So you would probably get a chance to buy that way...maybe.
  23. Our offense is going to have to come through to win this series. We won’t win a bunch of low scoring games in this series and face some really good pitching.we can only depend on the like of Miley/Gio to look like aces for so long.
  24. Approx. 48 hours before
