  1. Bob Nightengale‏ @BNightengale Scouts love the haul the #Brewers could potentially get, with one saying catcher Francisco Mejia is the best arm he's seen all year in minors
  2. I would agree with that wholeheartedly. A 20 year old catcher who is a flat out stud at both hitting & defense? 42 game hitting streak currently ongoing. Hitting .342 this year in A ball. Yes please Won't see me complaining about Mejia. He is a stud.
  3. That walk/K ratio this year is legit.
  4. McKenzie or I am disappointed.
  5. Love Mejia...now let's blow it out of the water with two more studs.
  6. Bob Nightengale 27s Bob Nightengale‏ @BNightengale The #Brewers expected to land at least three prospects from #Indians, including catcher Francisco Mejia and outfield prospect
  7. Heard we might get Sheffield which means likely not McKenzie...id be pretty sad if that is true.
  8. Lucroy will waive it I have no concerns. Surprised Smith isn't going along with him though.
  9. Sounds like a Lucroy trade will come to a close tonight. Hopefully More importantly is the part about the Mets being OUT.
  10. Also Passan: One thing to note, per source: If it is Cleveland, Jonathan Lucroy has not formally been approached about waiving his no-trade clause
  11. Jeff Passan 1m Jeff Passan‏ @JeffPassan Sources: Milwaukee closing in on a Jonathan Lucroy trade. Indians distinct favorites. Mets, Rangers are out. Medicals are being exchanged.
  12. Screw that just make an air hole.
  13. Yup after trade to Braves Lucroy is hanging up the cleats.
  14. 99.9% he was not in high five celebration. In the dugout? No one knows.
  15. Did someone see Lucroy? I did not.
  16. I mean if the Braves were interested at one point I guess any team can make some sense. I like the Rockies prospects though and I bet some pitchers wouldn't mind being rescued.
  17. Lucroy has actually been in the dugout apparently. Just put a hoodie on.
  18. I just have a hard time seeing the Rockies. I doubt they give up MLB ready Dahl and I really doubt they hand over one of their homegrown pitchers like Hoffman.
  19. Those are all guys whose markets will heat up tomorrow into Monday.
  20. Do you want Frazier, Rosario, Albies or perhaps David Dahl as your centerpiece? Hows that for a "mystery team"? I'd want Frazier because I think he is the best of them and I want Mejia so I guess I'd want the Indians center piece for that reason. Unfortunately I don't think he is on the table. I feel like a non contending team(Rockies) would be really surprising...I guess you never know though.
  21. So much for my prediction. Although it is Haudricourt. Yah I feel 75% of the information Haudricourt reports is via the retweet button.
  22. Honestly I prefer a deal to the Indians that includes Mejia. Unless the Mets really increase their offer I hate it...a lot. Of course this mystery team still has some life.
  23. I haven't seen one notable person mention Lucroy being gone. Only fans.
  24. Jon Morosi‏ @jonmorosi #Mets remain engaged with #Reds on Bruce and #Brewers on Lucroy, sources say.
