  1. I'd rather the guy gets a couple days of rest, also would rather not see Knebal pitch in the all-star game, save them for when it counts.
  2. Also my buddy had a big parlay bet online $11 bucks to win $350 and change, he posted a screen cap of it as that game went into the 9th, he needed the D-Backs to win to finish it. Karma always wins. Never, ever post a pic of a ticket before it hits, ever.
  3. **** happens. A couple nights ago the D-Backs had a 4-1 lead on the Dodgers in the bottom of the 9th with Rodney coming in, they never even recorded an out. Nobody likes to lose games when they lead in the 9th inning but luckily the Brewers have won most of their games and lead in the 9th a ton this year, they're likely going to lose more leads in the 9th than their opponents.
  4. But hey today's only half bad, the Cubs... LOSE! Magic number down to 70!
  5. Except that doesnt count all the holds he had as a setup man. Incredibly misleading.
  6. Knebal has been incredible this year, every closer blows a few one run games. It happens.
  7. That's tough, Suter was dominant all day, it was really just three batters
  8. Hopefully the rain lasts long enough to end guerra's start, or postpone would be fine.
  9. I am the complete opposite, I almost always walkup and buy the cheapest terrace reserve seats they've got, or go to stubhub on the app. Yet I haven't actually been north of the lodge level in years. One time even had bleacher seats that were actually cheapest on stubhub that day and were getting hassled for a few innings by idiot fans because we were sitting a few seats over (I didn't want to make the family next to us move that were sitting in our seats) so we went down to field level and sat four rows back for the rest of the game. I love moving around and usually get great seats for the last four innings or so after people start leaving early. This deal is perfect for me.
  10. Biggest lead on the division all season! 3.5 games magic number 75! Somehow Chase Anderson going down has lead to a string of great starts (except for Guerra). Been waiting all season for the impending downfall, yet they keep winning and opening up their division lead.
  11. 77! You know things are going well when Brent Suter gives you 6ip 0er.
  12. Magic number drops another 2 today, 78!
  13. The relief pitching has come together but the rotation is not in good shape. Really need Guerra to figure things out.
  14. The contact play giveth; the contact play taketh away. Hey im not in favor of it in most cases, i just like if it works
  15. I was hoping Woodruff would be back by now . He'd be the obvious fill-in answer for Chase. Yeah that one hurt too. Wonder if we'll see Jungmann
  16. Only 2 #6 teams have won the Super Bowl in NFL history and one of those is headquartered on Lombardi Ave in northeastern WI. A little bias on my part I guess since both were fairly recent.
  17. It sucks with Anderson going down, there's no replacements coming. Davies, Guerra, Garza either figure it out or they don't.
  18. meh, every team has a shot in baseball's postseason. Same for the playoffs in the NFL. #6 teams win all the time, Wild Card teams in baseball too. In the NBA you're right though, it's a rather pointless playoff and really only is necessary to stop three quarters of the league from tanking every year. No #5, #7, or #8 has ever won an NBA title, and a #6 has only done it once.
  19. Or the other two thrown onto the field. It's embarrassing when this happens at your team's homefield. I mean it's not as bad as what happened at Atlanta a few years ago, but still bad.
  20. Good to see them come through in a close game, especially after the two tough losses. Garza was pretty solid today too, just some cheap hits. It's going to take a huge effort from the rest of the rotation to make up for the loss of Anderson, so far so good after Jimmy's great start yesterday and Garza's start today.
