  1. Gotta be a good sign that he's stateside already. Crazy OBP numbers down in DSL
  2. Looks like the offense is back to normal, it was a fun series against the Reds though, scoring runs is fun.
  3. I do not remember Yuni in CF, if true that must have been a hilarious day.
  4. Defensive metrics on individual outfielders are meaningless over the course of a single season (many will even say the same about infielders). Looking at it from the full team perspective is fine though, good to see they've been better than expected so far.
  5. This is at least the 3d - 2 11-10 Ls (one a choke to the Nats and this one) and a 14-7 W. The first one was worth 10K since the guy had the card or whatever. Ueck spent a couple innings trying to get the guy to call in and he never did and Ueck started giving him a hard time about it. Can't remember the name. 2 Ds I think. About the funniest Ueck has ever been. That's good to know, I guess I just don't know how long they've been doing it. I was at a game against the Marlins in 2012, The Brewers had a 9-3 lead over the Marlins but of course with our glorious bullpen that turned into an 11-10 deficit in the bottom of the 10th with two outs and one on when Ramirez hit a walk off two run homer. I remember they had the contest back then because people were saying online how close it was but I guess before that I just wasn't aware of it. I'm a regular poker player down at Poto and I have the fire keepers club card, but just have never got around to signing up for the contest. I think after today I might have to do it.
  6. Alright, lets at least get one run and win somebody a bunch of money! I could be wrong but I don't think anyone's ever won the pays big 21 promo.
  7. After 20 years of following this team you learn to expect failure at every opportunity.
  8. One run away from someone winning a lot of money with the pays big 21 promotion
  9. Only pulling him five batters too late. Not really an anti counsel guy but this has been an abomination today.
  10. Reminds me of how depressing it was when they were showing the 50 greatest moments in franchise history.
  11. If they can get another shutout tomorrow that'd be a whole series shutout, wonder when the last time that happened is?
  12. Good thing we didn't trade for Gray or Quintiana. The last thing we need is more pitching.
  13. Uhh, Shaw had a pretty awful one yesterday. It was only one error but throwing a ball into right field that could be a double play is about as bad as two errors.
  14. Very unlucky season so far for Braun. BABIP of .285 this year, well below his career average. His linedrive rate is actually above his career average too. Three more of them go for outs today.
  15. 1. Lewis Brinson 2. Corbin Burnes 3. Brett Phillips 4. Josh Hader 5. Brandon Woodruff 6. Mauricio Dubon 7. Keston Hiura 8. Monte Harrison 9. Luis Ortiz 10. Freddy Peralta 11. Jake Gatewood 12. Taylor Williams 13. Lucas Erceg 14. Jon Perrin 15. Jordan Yamamoto 16. Isan Diaz 17. Corey Ray 18. Phil Bickford 19. Trent Clark 20. Trey Supak 21. Cody Ponce 22. Kyle Wren 23. Blake Allemond 24. Clint Coulter 25. Tristan Lutz --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 26. Jacob Nottingham 27. K.J. Harrison 28. Ernesto Martinez 29. Josh Pennington 30. Quintin Torres-Costa 31. Nick Ramirez 32. Je'von Ward 33. Payton Henry 34. Jean Carmona 35. Kenny Corey 36. Mario Feliciano 37. Kodi Medeiros 38. Adrian Houser 39. Maiker Pinto 40. Dallas Carrol 41. Chad McClanahan 42. Max Lazar 43. Javier Betancourt 44. Carlos Herrera 45. Angel Ventura 46. Nate Orf 47. Angel Ortega 48. Pablo Abreu 49. Johnny Davis 50. Weston Wilson I did 50 so it'd be like the old power 50.
  16. Well we've got to get a win eventually when trailing after 8
  17. Im sure they'll break out of this to put up 3 in the 9th
  18. Thats absolutely what they should have done, you've got a nine man bullpen right now, cant give away outs with this offense.
  19. I dont think uecker is very interested in long term, he doesnt have too many years left, especially not announcing.
  20. In 3 years the Cubs will stlll be dealing their prospects for good major league players to fill their few holes, and be 15 games ahead of the Brewers. Epstein and Hoyer are head and shoulders above Stearns and will still have the advantage of a budget twice the Brewers'. As a small market team you're not going to beat the big market teams by doing what they do and trading away the farm every trade deadline when you're in the race. We've tried that already and that lead to a limited window of competitiveness and sent us into this mess that required a rebuild.
