  1. It would be nice if we had a ballparks section on this forum with a thread for each ballpark with advice and info for fans making the trip. There's a number of us here who go to road series and plan trips every year and plenty of locals across the country whose home ballpark is somewhere other than Milwaukee.
  2. Probably don't need to be using Ashby again in a game like this.
  3. Throw the next one at his head. Make sure it actually hits him.
  4. When I was a kid that used to happen all the time.
  5. Nice! Hopefully this means we dodge the apple tv game
  6. I was wondering when this thread would pop up
  7. That was a great job by Lockridge to not field that cleanly!
  8. I think he would have. Those corners used to be wide open back before they put the strikezone box on the television screen.
  9. Brewers were putting together a system for that until MLB said no.
  10. I find it tough to care about rooting for Team USA and instead I really was only hoping for Brewers organizational players to do well and not get hurt. I don't mean it in an anti American way or anything, I just find it tough to care about how players from other organizations do.
  11. So now in addition to pitch framing, catchers will now need to be evaluated on challenge success rate.
  12. I want a full feature piece on the 10 game winning streak in 2003.
  13. What a fantastic return! Almost makes you suspicious.
  14. Couldn't agree more. I was 17 years old when I first saw a winning season. Making the wild card in 2008 felt like a miracle. Four division championships in five years seemed like a pipe dream back then.
  15. Well anyway, it's been a hell of a season everyone. I love that we have a competitive team year in and year out. Many fun memories
  16. Brewers are still winning this series.
  17. What a day! This could finally be the team! I'll be there in LA game 4 and game 5. I hope to see Milwaukee win the pennant in person!
  18. Don't know if anyone else saw it, but Contreras was tipping pitches for Vaughn on that at bat where he hit the 3 run homer.
  19. No if the Cubs lose game 2 to go down 2-0, then game 3 is a must win game.
  20. They didn't score runs but they did hit the ball hard and had baserunners in the last six innings. I counted about four warning track flyouts.
  21. Agreed! Let's sneak out there Saturday morning and set up a bunch of detour signs directly into Lake Michigan!
  22. This isn't any other sport. This is baseball. I'm fine with one wild card or having the one game wild card playoff between two wild card teams. I'm not at all fine with this current system.
  23. It should have. A division winner's season should not come down to a 3 game series vs 6th place.
