  1. Last night was great again. Classic moment when Stan realizes that Kurt Russell (ha ha) and crew has run into his own imaginative creation. Great stuff. Anyone think Kyle's momentary death is his way out of the contract with Cartman? Crude as it may be, that storyline has me rolling.
  2. Probably whenever he becomes a Yankee. That's Sandler's team.
  3. Yeah, they really let him go off. Definitely pushed boundaries with the Jewish stuff.
  4. That definitely was a laugher, which is weird, because all he really did was blurt out swears and other perverse stuff. I guess it brought out the 7th grader in me. The stuff that he couldn't help but say ("touching ******* with his cousin" and what not) was pretty hilarious too.
  5. Your point being? How about "In My Life" by The Beatles.
  6. I agree with you. I've spent the last few days watching the Cubs and Brewers religiously. I've never been more frustrated at the team in my 22+ years of fandom (that starts with my birth). The only reason I've reached the level I'm at though, is because this is the first team that has been truly good enough to "let me down." I'm loving it right now, heartbreak and all.
  7. I'd like to hear Dale's reasoning for having Dillon lead off the 9th with Gross and Counsell both sitting on the bench as better options. At least they've seen Isringhausen. Dillon was totally lost up there.
  8. Pretty pathetic that Ned gets kicked out in a 3-2 ball game in the thick of a playoff race. Now isn't the time to take care of battles like that.
  9. I'm pretty sure it was the Badgers' radio announcer who had that "cataclysmic" call. I believe Matt Lepay. Maybe the other guy.
  10. You guys honestly think Jenkins couldn't play first?
  11. My head says take the bet, but my heart won't let me. Go get'em Crew!
  12. Brett...question about the push, pull, or drag sale. I hear it advertised on the radio occasionally and always wondered how it worked. So basically they give you $5,000 towards the purchase of a new vehicle for ANY used vehicle you have regardless of condition? Seems too good to be true.
  13. Busch Light is like champagne compared to some of the stuff I've run in to at parties. I actually don't mind Busch Light at all. Decent beer for the price. Perfect for a long day or night of drinking.
  14. I agree with you on that. I think it is part of the "charm" of the college atmosphere, though. Everyone believes in their ability to influence. I actually was a part of a study of the effect of political talk in the college classroom while at UW-Madison. I was a "guinea pig" so I don't know what conclusions they came to, but it was something fun I remember doing. The strangest teacher I ever had when it came to talking politics was John Sharpless, my history professor in Madison. He was a big Bush basher. Not because he was a crazy liberal, but because he was SUPER conservative (by his own admission). Ran for office in Madison as a Libertarian I believe. Crazy man...liked to talk about drinking a lot...fun class.
  15. I agree. I drank like a fish at UW-Whitewater my freshman and sophomore years and only had about 2.8-3.2 GPA. Then the real classes started (finance) and I averaged 3.9 my last two years (even continuing to drink like a fish). On to graduate school and finished with MBA in 2 1/2 years (total 6 1/2 for BBA/MBA) and partying/drinking was all part of the experience. Best time of my life (although it has probably been a few more years ago than most of you !!). Enjoy and just remember... even though they're drilling you with liberalism now, everyone becomes a conservative when they grow up. Moneyballman...That last comment is pretty inappropriate. I'm not going to say I've had equal numbers of conservative instructors as liberal ones, but I've run into more than a couple conservative instructors in Madison and SP that let their feelings known. Beyond that, your last statement is totally false and misleading. Demeaning even.
  16. You look more like Lyle Overbay in the bottom pic, though.
  17. Well so far Nottso gets the award for best looking on the board. I kid.
  18. I've watched other afternoon games this season on on MLB TV, though.
  19. Well I'm in Stevens Point and the game is in Pittsburgh, so I figured I'd get it for sure.
  20. Why would I be blacked out from this game on MLB TV?
  21. Count me in as a bee guy. I can't stand them flying around me and end up swatting and running and jiving like a crazy crack head when they are around me. I also get uncomfortable right before I have to give a speech or a presentation. Once I get up there I'm fine, as long as I am fully prepared. It's also weird that I was in musical productions all four years of HS and had prominent roles. I was more timid in rehearsals than I was when we actually took stage.
  22. Failing to use what I've been given. Disappointing the people around me.
  23. I was in the computer lab getting ready for my first hour Integrated Arts class. I was a junior in high school. I still can remember the students sitting around me and my teacher (Mr. Niskanen) walking into the room telling us to turn the TV on cuz his wife just called him telling him about a plane crashing into the WTC. That class was filled with debate over whether it was an accident or an attack, until the second plane hit. I remember being in my 2nd or 3rd hour class when the buildings came down. I also remember my 4th hour English teacher being the only one who didn't let us watch the news. Her reasoning: "There's nothing we are going to do about it." That still kind of ticks me off to this day. Talk about the most startling and gripping learning experience one could have, and she totally ignored. The most useless hour of instruction of her life, I'm sure.
  24. With Dish Network we always got the WMLW games up here by Wausau. Will we still get them with DirecTV now? HELP PLEASE!
  25. BrewCrew...What a ho!
