In regards to the last 2 topics on this thread: -offer Bauers a QO. ,you have a 1B/DH/OF with power or at least a draft pick coming back. I’d Bauers walks and is replaced internally, the Brewers lack of power would only be exacerbated. Burke struggled on AAA anyway -Definitely shop Ortiz IMO. Nothing against him, but Fischer and Adams are ready or at least close, (with Made coming soon) and Hamilton can be the UTIL. Plus, it may be selling high

That Bauers battle/HR followed by Mitchell was such a perfect timing after the momentum downswing of Uribe’s inning. It’ll be hard to replace Bauers if he leaves this offseason

Why on earth wouldn’t you just bat Bauers before Vaughn? Why stack lefties back to back? Especially when Mitchell is definitely worse vs lefties statistically

Yes. That’s part of the danger of starting Sanchez. He is still your backup catcher, so do you pinch hit Yelich for him if a righty pitcher comes in the the 5th inning? or do you pinch run for him then have no backup catcher? I’m not saying not to, it that’s the risk
