    A kid who might fall to the 3rd round and is arguably the best (non-Gordan) hitter in the draft...David Adams. I would do a cartwheel if I got him in the 3rd round....the kid can swing the pole. His slightly bel ave speed, ave arm and lack of a solid position may cause him to slide...but he's probably the most "polished" baseball player in the prep ranks. He's not a toolsy guy he's just a damn good baseball player.

    I'll throw out a name that I think may "leak" into the 2-3 rounds...Jeremy Hellickson RHP Hoover, IA. His size scares some teams but in my opinion he's a 1st round arm.... For what it's worth....

    i know all about Reinhard, I just didn't want to "out" him in fear that my area boss would be somewhat unhappy about it... Anyway, yes he's a fringe prospect. The fact that he's at Whitewater will help him by the end of the season...

    If you want to draft a prep pitcher take Brett Jacobsen.... He threw the last 2 fall seasons for our Blazer team down in Jupiter....my top prep pitcher by leaps and bounds... 6-6 200 lbs throws 92-93 with a nasty 80-81 slider....has good feel for a change as well... Clean arm, throws with unbelievable downward plane, off the chart makeup, smart, polite kid, that might not know how good he is.... He's my pick if I'm making the selection.
