  1. Since he had no fastball today and is still sitting in the dugout, is there a chance he has deadarm also and they are just resting him?
  2. Didn't the Reds score on a groundout? Wouldn't they technically be 0-2?
  3. In your opinion, what would a "good" in game thread look like. I'm not disagreeing with you, I generally respect your opinion (even when I don't agree with it) and would like your take.
  4. I'm out. Hopefully my absence will give the Brewers luck and I will wake up tomorrow and read about a comeback for the ages.
  5. Aaaaand we have a winner. Tell him what he has won...
  6. I have to say that it is getting really frustrating watching the patience of the Cubs hitters in contrast to the free-swinging Brewers.
  7. This games over already? I could have swore the home team gets to bat in the ninth.
  8. CC doesn't look very sharp so far tonight. Hopefully he's just jacked up because it is a big game and settles down.
  9. I know that Bill Hill wins games... but does he tie them?
  10. That was his first post. Brian, I think we need to ban all Cubs fans.
  11. It seems like we miss the cutoff a lot.
  12. I checked it; it was fair. Even though the ball hit in foul territory past third, it hit fair before the bag and was in fair territory when it crossed the bag. I'm not sure I explained it well, so I hope it makes sense.
  13. Game over. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  14. He missed the tag but when the ball beats the runner by that much, they will call him out every time.
  15. You're right. Okay, I have no idea what that "final at bat" thing means. Except that it's awesome. I can't argue with that. BTW, In his last 9 plate appearances, Braun is 8 for 8 with a walk. He should have taken a couple more walks in there to increase his OBP.
  16. I think this means that we were down to our last guy, with 2 outs in the 9th (or in extra innings). If that guy is out, we lose, or at least go to the bottom of the 9th (or 10th, or whatever). Kind of a weenie stat, I guess, but it's shocking nonetheless that they've won 6 times against the cards in that fashion. That could have very, very easily gone the other way 6 times. There's a word for that... I think it's "karma". Except there was only one out when Braun hit the jack.
  17. What does this even mean? Do they mean the final inning? Technically, you can only win on the final at bat at home.
  18. Were the Cards LaRussa'd? Speaking of LaRussa, did you see the Cards dugout shot after the Braun HR? LaRussa had a look of shock on his face. Priceless!
  19. GAME OVER! I just pulled my shirt tail out. I cheered hard this game.
  20. Helms struck out with the bases loaded with two out in the 9th. He's still killing us.
