  1. It was more than being late for a meeting. I would think at some point you feel you just can’t count on a guy and it’s not a good message on a rebuilding team to not have some accountability. https://www.cincinnati.com/story/sports/nfl/2018/09/18/josh-gordon-browns-receiver-traded-after-hamstring-injury-deception/1349321002/
  2. That seems harsh. King is a guy that battled injury in college, missing games every year except his senior year. I think I'm willing to give the guy a little more than one season and two games before calling him a bust, though. I heard on the radio McCarthy say something like they didn’t respond well to the King injury on Sunday. I have a feeling wel’ll see Josh Jackson before House.
  3. Not me, it wasn’t a penalty, it was a clean football play. I didn’t think the play that Rodgers was hurt on last year was a penalty and I certainly don’t think Clay’s play was. I want the game to be officiated fairly and have the teams decide the outcome... and that didn’t happen today.
  4. And Cain shouldn’t have tagged there with 2 outs. If he gets thrown out, arcia may not score.
  5. Funny, I thought the same thing... even until I read your post.
  6. Didn’t we have more homers that inning than the whole Cubs series?
  7. It would certainly be nice to win but it’s not a must win. If we lose, we’ll be 3 behind the Cubs and 3.5 ahead of the Dodgers. If the 3 game deficit is insurmountable against the Cubs, wouldn’t that make us a lock for the playoffs? There is enough time to catch the Cubs or be caught by the Dodgers.
  8. That would be crazy! Can you imagine losing early and having to run the gauntlet on the back side only to have to beat the front side winner in back to back five game series to win it all?
  9. And Cards score 4 in the bottom of the 8th. Booooo
  10. Totally agree and I think Rodgers might be catching on to this as well. For as quick a release as he has he rarely gets rid of the ball right away. He is always scanning the field which allows the pocket to collapse and then he scrambles. Yeah great things can happen when he does that but why take the risk? That offense was a thing of beauty in the 2nd half last night. more of that please. I have thought for a long time that a lot of this is Rodgers. I don't think the play calls were any different, I think that Rodgers doesn't want the quick play for 5 yards when he's been able to get the 25 yard play consistently.
  11. 20 over and counting. Brewers are going to get to 100 wins!
  12. I felt like Counsell argued until he got run to get MadBum out of his rhythm. He stood around for a long time in between pitches. Worked like a charm.
