  1. I agree that the division is a huge long shot but how do you get 8-9 games out of that? LOL Because out of those six losses, how many games do you think the Cubs are going to lose once the games played are even? Two at the most, a Lloyd Christmas chance at three. Well, there is only a 2 game difference, so I’d be good if they lost them both. The Brewers had a 5 game lead at the all star break last year that was erased in a week, so it’s not unprecedented. And we play the Cubs 6 more times. It’s not likely that we sweep them but it is possible. If we do sweep them and play even with them he rest if the year, we will be tied. Again, not likely but stranger things have happened.
  2. 2018 was, IMO, a make-or-break year, and Demi was in the middle. The only prospects I really don't like losing in the July-August deals are Meideiros and KJ Harrison. The former had put it together to a Hader-lite potential. The latter was arguably the best offensive prospect at catcher for the Crew. The rest... I'm not that upset about. Except he won’t stick as catcher, so he’ll be a bad hitting first baseman or leftfielder.
  3. If nothing else, they made Strasbourg throw a lot of pitches this inning. Too bad Braun couldn’t lay off the change up.
  4. Good sleuthing. That would make perfect sense. Toolsy guy that more than likely will never put it together. Agree, another guy that I’ve lost hope on.
  5. If it was the 3rd inning they would have stopped it IMO.
  6. Gio has been good his whole career and maybe the brewers see something they can fix. Seems like we’ve done a good job getting something out of starters that were thought of as garbage. We didn’t give up anything and I’m excited to see if he can turn it around and be our Cole Hamels.
  7. Lara has been terrible all 12 years he’s been in the system and I have a feeling they know what they had in him. I kept waiting for it to click with him and it never did. Harrison didn’t do much as a 22 year old in A ball. Seems like he’s a long ways away. We may regret it someday but I’d be surprised if either of these guys makes it to the majors.
  8. I would take that but if I could only pick one, I'd say... LET'S GO PIRAAATES!!!!!!!
  9. I’ll take a series win. I don’t view Jesús as lazy either. Someone like Braun, Yelich or Cain can beat out an infield grounder if there is a bobble but when you’re big and slow, like Aguilar, you’re out by 3 steps instead of 5 and it’s a waste of energy to bust it down the line just for “show”.
  10. I know this is not statistically accurate but it feels like the drawn in infield never works when we do it and it ALWAYS works when the other team does it.
  11. And it wasn't even close, good call! Can you predict an easy victory?
