  1. Wow, what a time to be a Milwaukee sports fan.. The Bucks just beat down the Rockets on the road to regain the best record in the league and the Brewers signed one of the best catchers in baseball to further solidify their already potent lineup in preparation for another playoff run.
  2. Hell no, don't give up Ray for that Bum(garner). Outside of Cain and Braun, the core of this team is pretty young. Let's not mortgage a piece that could help extend our "window" for a maybe guy. If we can make a move at the trade deadline for an ace that is having a great season, fine. This isn't the move you make if you are Stearns. Stearns knows this better than anyone.
  3. I'm glad he said what he said. We are all adults. Let's call a spade a spade. Is anything he said untrue? It's not like he said that he had a poor work ethic or was bad in the club house. He didn't perform, and at his salary he needs to perform.
  4. I got standing room for Friday and although my back is a little sore (i got there when the gates opened to get a good spot) it was an incredible experience. Field level on the 3rd base side. It was cool knowing that I paid 60 dollars through the presale and that others had paid 2-300 dollars to be just a few feet in front of me.
  5. Bump! Still have that extra. At 87 thats way better than stubhub right now and for terrace reserve its a pretty damn good seat. EDIT: Ticket is now gone.
  6. Hey guys, i have an extra single terrace reserve for tomorrow now. Pm me for details if interested. Face value of course. Edit: Sold that one, but now I have another extra due to an upgrade from a friend. Section 428, Row 9. I got it during the Wisconsin presale so it's only $87 after fees.
  7. Does anybody suspect if I am okay to wear Brewers apparel at Dodgers Stadium? I realize anything can happen anywhere, so just looking more along the lines of "I wouldn't do that" or "you're fine". No one can give you what you're looking for. The best you can do is to approach any potential encounter with a de-escalation mindset and hope that you don't run into some low lives.
  8. I've got two extras for game 2 in Terrace Reserve 410, Row 17. Next to each other of course. Face value. Message me if interested! Edit: They gone!
  9. it's interesting that someone who only buys 20 of the 81 home games out of the year calls themselves a "season ticket holder." also, your rational behind your own willingness to scalp playoff tickets is flawed. you are not paying a "premium" for tickets, other people are just getting deals because the games are not selling out. you're paying face value (maybe even a little less compared to single game, box office buyers, right?). And your reward for that is guaranteed playoff tickets at face value. How you made the leap from paying face value for 20 regular season games to "I deserve to rip others off because I'm a season ticket holder" is baffling. I'm not saying you're a terrible person if you do this. Just own it and be honest with yourself about what you're doing.
  10. i can't believe the gauntlet of captcha images i had to click on each time i went in.. unbelievable..
  11. So I don't really follow other baseball teams the way I follow the Brewers, not even close. I know we all hate the Cubs and want them to lose out of spite, but which team has a better overall roster do you think? Cubs or Rockies?
  12. Alright, let's focus on the division, now! Our new magic number, a combination of Brewers wins and Cubs losses, is 5 to win the NL Central.
  13. If we win the division and end up with the best record in the NL, Yelich is a lock, right? To me he already is, but that would have to ice it. I just hope Cain comes in 3rd.
  14. What do I think? I think the one game playoff is the dumbest thing in sports. A team wins 90+ games and it could all be lost because of one bad game? Are you kidding me? And we do this, why? So that more fans would keep interest late into the season because their team still has a chance at the playoffs? The one game playoff isn't the playoffs, it's a play-IN. You play it to get INTO the playoffs. How stupid is that? Just get rid of it. Go back to the old model. They play 162 games, that's more than enough to figure out who deserves a full playoff series. Was it fun when the Brewers got super close to the one game playoff last season? Yeah, it was. But we didn't deserve that excitement. It was phony. We weren't a playoff team. This year? We have a great team. We have a great team that still has about a 40-45% chance of not getting a full playoff series because last year's Brewers got hot at the right time and snuck their way in and are trying to ruin it for us. We need to win the division. Oh my god, how sweet would that be if the Cubs lost to the Cards in a one gamer? I would cry with laughter. That is the only way that the play-in round is any good.
  15. Just realized that baseball reference didn't include last night's results at the time that I was looking.
  16. Got bored at work..
  17. Seems like we just negotiated to block the cubs, and then just said "nah" ten minutes before the deadline. If thats what really happened, good.
  18. Well, if he pitches and beats the Cubs tonight instead of them throwing out some bum and lsoing, thats also a win.
  19. It's 2018... Can we get a tldr on this? Can i assume it it says something like: People have been acting like dicks, dont be a dick?
  20. To me, you go with Schoop vs lefties from here on out and hopes that he at some point becomes the player we thought he was. It's a gamble but one we need to make because the reward is what we need to be a contender. Im saying he could put our offense over the top, especially important considering our pitching situation. That said, im glad we didnt spend big on a pitcher. Clearly we are not in our window yet. With Burnes in the rotation next year, peralta with some experience, and the ability to sign guys without giving anything up in the offseason, perhaps a healthy Nelson, i think our window truly begins next season. Either way, this should be a fun ride.

  22. Heading to my first Brewer game in 6 years tonight. Hope we get a good one.
  23. Im assuming this is purely for depth. Why not? We gave u nothing.
  24. How did they call that a homerun? Is the back wall behind the padding not considered the actual wall and if it clears the yellow and hits that then its gone? Weird
  25. That, or it boosts his confidence to know that CC still believes in him. I really hope tonight is the night for him.
