I think they've bunted quite a bit to tack on runs. I refuse the argument that the bunt has been a crucial part of the offense and somehow critical to multiple wins.
So bunting is good cuz one time the opposing defense screwed it up? I would also think Turang is far better at it than the guys that have been attempting the last couple of games. The context matters too.
How does that play with how many errors have been committed by an opponent. In other words, are teams committing more errors when playing the Brewers or are the Brewers just capitalizing more.
I think this is where I'm at. There are countless playoff graves filled with teams that were "hot" going into the playoffs. I think this is just the latest invention by Baby Bears fans to rationalize why the Baby Bears aren't gods gift to baseball.
