  1. I'm very well, thank you. Just a fan that doesn't let my emotions prevent me from calling out our team, when it's warranted.
  2. Lots of thumbs down reactions to my comments, and quite frankly, I don't care. The truth hurts sometimes. Just the way it is. There's absolutely nothing wrong with criticizing our favorite team, and at this point, expecting more than just being a competitive regular season team.
  3. Exactly. Then people here need to stop saying that the ownership group isn't cheap, and that they will actually try and win a WS title. Like I said, and a couple others here have also said. We've been "competitive" for quite a while now. As a fan base, we have every right to expect more, once in a while. Especially on years like this, when it looks like what could be, our best chance to win it all. The days of being happy with having a good/great regular season, then lose in the 1st rd of the playoffs, should be over.
  4. Lots of factors go into this year. For all we know, there could be tension in the locker room, animosity towards the coach, etc. They made many more trades than I would expect us to do. What's the point of just hoarding prospects? Especially when we have a very deep system, 1 of the best records in MLB, and swept the Dodgers? If that's not enough for the front office to actually pull the trigger on 1-2 big trades(and add a little salary for the rest of this year)to actually go for it, then nothing will ever be enough. After the amount of time that we've been a very competitive team, aren't you beyond sick and tired of being bounced in the 1st rd? I sure as hell am.
  5. A slim majority. He's the talking piece for the ownership group. He needs to grow a pair, and make them understand that now is the time to actually go for it, instead of gaslighting us some more, by just claiming that they are. If not, then as far as I'm concerned, they should sell the team.
  6. If they settle for 2 fringy players, then that's definitely not even remotely "going for it". Most fans here are hindsight cherry pickers. Like I said, most people here, including myself, went off about that trade, saying it was a massive overpay. I understand that as a small market team, we need to have a deep system. Well, it's so deep now, that we could easily afford to trade a few to try and try to get better now, and actually go for it. I've never once said they should completely drain the farm system. What's the point of hoarding prospects? So we can watch many of them flame out and/or have the talent diminish because of injuries? We have 1 of the best records inMLB, and we swept the Dodgers. NOW IS THE TIME!!
  7. For 1, I definitely think we should trade for Suarez, if he's made available. Kills 2 birds(need for power & 3rd base) with 1 stone. He's a FA after this season, so I think he could be had for less than what most people think. It would probably still take a bit, but don't think it would take any of our top top prospects. Attanasio is too cheap to allow that though, most likely.
  8. Most people here, including myself, called that trade a massive overpay. Too many hindsight cherry pickers here.
  9. And most people on this sight called it a MASSIVE overpay. Including me. Lol. Like I said, hindsight is always 20/20.
  10. Hindsight is 20/20. We definitely need at least 1 big power bat, and possibly a SS, because for obvious reasons, I wouldn't count on Ortiz offensively at all. But if our fan base would rather watch the Cubs make some moves to try and get better before the playoffs, then so be it. We know they will, and Milwaukee will probably stand pat, or trade for a middling receiver and bench bat, and call"er a day. While telling us "they went for it!". Lol SMDH
  11. I answered my own question? The point, is most won't make it to Milwaukee 2 main reasons. Either they fizzle out and drastically lose trade value, or because of injury. So since many/most won't make it to Milwaukee, why not use some of them in trades to try and get better now? If you ask me, after sweeping the Dodgers this year, this is DEFINITELY the year to make 1-2 bigger trades and go for it.
  12. Best record in baseball, just to probably get bounced in their first playoff series, again, just because MA refuses to pry open the wallet a bit, and Arnold refuses to use our deep farm system to make some meaningful moves. What's the point of having a deep system, if they won't use it? Not all of our prospects will make it to Milwaukee. In fact, most won't.
  13. That's big? Yeah, uh-huh, ok.
  14. Let me rephrase, then. Brewer fans setting themselves up for disappointment, again. If they're not gonna actually go for it, and make a big trade or 2 once in a while, especially when they have a deep system to trade from, then what's the point? Get our hopes up all season, just to immediately lose in the playoffs? Really? To me, that's called self torture.
  15. Brewer fans settling for mediocrity again. Hoping and praying for pure luck to actually win a WS. Wow.
  16. You mean the, get bounced in the 1st rd of the playoffs every year, pudding?
  17. A couple/few weeks before the deadline, prospects are often brought up, right before they're traded. That's no secret.
  18. If the Brewers would even remotely consider that, I'd stop being a fan, immediately.
  19. And over time, many conspiracy theories end up being proven, that they actually weren't "theories" at all. Too many people refuse to think outside of the box.
  20. Maybe that's exactly what a few prospective teams wanna see from Black, too? To see if he takes advantage of this opportunity or not. How he does at the MLB level. I have a strong feeling that he'll be traded by the deadline.
  21. That's proof of how deep the system is, and how THIS is the year to use that prospect depth to finally make a few meaningful trades, and actually go for it!
  22. So far, Miz has proven his control issues are much better. With how dominant he's been, why the h*** would you move him to the bullpen now? That would be insane to do, at this point. I suppose, he'll have a innings limit, so moving a dominant starter to the pen would be a total "Brewers" move, while still claiming they're going for a WS title.
  23. And every time a player goes on the injured list, doesn't mean they're actually hurt. There are ways to manipulate the IL. Especially the timing of this move. Not long before the trade deadline? With a once highly thought of prospect, that still has trade value to some teams? I mean, C'mon.
  24. I'm sure you realized that the point, is the phone call would most likely be very short.
