  1. We've been "in it" at the deadline quite often lately. Since when have they ever been aggressive at the deadline? Sure, they usually make a move or 2, but aggressive? Sorry, I just don't see that happening. Imo, being aggressive means being one of the first teams to make a trade(well before the deadline), or making a big "splash" type trade for a player nobody expected to be traded.
  2. I agree with you. One thing I don't understand about this site, though, is why so many people are annoyed by emoji's? Since body expressions/voice tones obviously can't be seen or heard when posting things, sometimes an emoji is just a way of expressing themselves. So other people don't misconstrue the intent of comments.
  3. Mayo didn't play college ball. He was drafted out of high school. As for his minor league stats, there's a reason why Mayo is a top 20 prospect in all of MLB, and Wilken isn't. Every team in baseball knows Mayo is much better than Wilken at this point.
  4. I definitely wouldn't mind Devers in Milwaukee. He's a pretty darn good player.
  5. Yes. I didn't like giving up on Cruz.
  6. Yes, lightyears. Every team in MLB would agree, too. Here's Mayos' stats. We understand, though, you're like most MLB fans. They overvalue their prospects, just because they play for their favorite team. What were those reasons I asked about earlier? I'm curious. 7. I'd be ALL for it. You're right, though, the Brewers won't do that.
  8. If prospect ranking lists mean nothing to you, then check the stats between both of them. Mayo is lightyears ahead of Wilken. What reasons would you take Wilken over Mayo?
  9. Imo, there's no way the Brewers will spend that much to keep him. It's become obvious that, although they bought out arby years of a couple of our younger players, the odds of re-signing players after their arby years, is pretty much zero. Basically, we're the new Oakland A's(Las Vegas).
  10. Probably 1 of the most terrible trades in team history. If not, the most. I remember not being happy that they traded him.
  11. 2 different genres would've been nice. 🤷‍♂️
  12. Right now, Mayo is definitely better than Wilken. Plus, after getting drilled in the face, Wilkens' #'s went down, which is understandable. After getting hit like that, it wouldn't surprise me if he never fully comes back from that. Imo, that would also be completely understandable. His life probably flashed before his eyes.
  13. Yep, pretty much. Imo, unless he harnesses his control out of nowhere, there's no way he'll end up a starter at the MLB level.
  14. I wouldn't worry about Megill too much yet. It's spring training, so I'm sure he's probably just working on some things. Most likely not pitching with the same pitch mix he normally would in the regular season.
  15. I agree that overall, the food has went downhill. Though, I still make sure to get a polish with kraut and stadium sauce, if I do attend a game.
  16. Sure the prices go up. The problem, though, is most people's wages/salaries usually don't go up at the same pace. With how out of control cost of living/inflation are now, many people just don't have the extra $$ to go to games anymore. Especially if they have kid(s).
  17. 2 rap/hip-hop concerts? Catering to mainly 1 age group of fans? Not smart imo.
  18. Agreed. I haven't went to a game for 3 years now, for the same reasons. I'd rather just watch games on TV now. The only way I'll go to a game now, most likely, is if I win tickets, or am given tickets by friends or family.
  19. I'm well aware of how most people here think of me. I honestly don't care, but you don't need to make it worse by treating people like they're ignorant. Lol. Your question was pure sarcasm, and you know it. Apparently, I wasn't the only one who didn't know who you were referring to.
  20. I was born at night, but it wasn't last night.
  21. I'm a mere mortal. Forgive me. Forgot that you know everything and everyone, and no player ever escapes your mind. I'm not worthy. It was a simple question.
