  1. Just back from the cardialogist. (Everything was great, by the way) Ready to go! 😆
  2. Thanks. Blood pressure's been a bit wonky since leaving the hospital. Hoping he stabilizes things a bit. I've been doing cardiac rehab lately with 20 minute on the treadmill and another 20 on a bike. Keeps me tired. 🙂
  3. I'm visiting my cardiologist at Froedtert early Friday morning, so I hope I'm back in time.
  4. Finally made it out of the hospital on Sunday. Funny how one surgery makes me forget how to walk. Was there two weeks and two days. For the first two weeks, my blood pressure would plummet when I stood. The last two days I finally started walking and PT and OT signed off on me pretty quickly. Recovery going slowly at home. Wife's usually getting me out once a day to walk at a store. This'll take awhile.
  5. Thanks bud. I was in ICU about 4 days. Regular room now. My best friend in West Allis is visiting most days, which helps. I definitely plan to enjoy life more this year and see some games. Brewers and T-Rats.
  6. Probably a bit above the "bugging" stage... I was suffering chest pains Wed last week. I blew them off and didn't go to Urgent Care like my wife wanted. On Thu, they became extremely severe. I went to Theda Clark in Neenah at that point. We were told my only treatment option was to take an ambulance ride to Froedtert in Mil.. Turns out what I got was an aortic dissection. Pretty major. Both my parents died from aortic aneurysms in the last 2 years. I had to take the ambulance as they weren't flying that night. Wife was being told that I had a 5% chance of surviving the trip. Survive I did I guess, and I've been in the hospital for the last week. Lots of pain from this. I've been hearing noise of Brewer moves lately, so I thought I'd come here to get my "real" news. Been out of the loop A bit.
  7. I'll never forget that. I was probably 16 back then. It looked like he had two knees the way they kept showing that over and over. It made my legs hurt looking at that.
  8. The Beefalo Bulls doing a job today against Dallas.
  9. I still have my Jesus jersey... Got it the year he was traded.
  10. Seems like everyone's quarterbacks are dying in droves.
  11. Justice would be the Brewers going all the way next year without Counsell.
  12. I'm wondering if he's going down to deliberately sabotage the Cubs. ... and take their money while doing it. 😄
  13. Hope he does as well for them as Dale Sveum did.
  14. It's the Bears... They'll still find a way to break him.
  15. Bears DC gets raided by FBI. Resigns. Link
  16. Consolation is that it may be a high 2nd pick instead of a low 1st pick.
  17. Antonio Freeman... We called him the "Sideline Seeking Missile".
  18. Not having fun... Mom passed away a couple weeks ago. An aneurysm in her aorta decided to blow up. She never made it to the final hospital. The same thing killed my Dad two years ago. No clue he had one. We knew about her as she had two of them. She had surgery on the first shortly after my Dad passed. It wasn't a fun time as a 5-7 day stay at the hospital turned into 6 weeks when her kidneys wouldn't start up again. Eventually they did. After that, she decided to not have surgery on the second one. It would have been worse than the first surgery, as they would have had to cut her open top to bottom to get to it. We knew it was a ticking time bomb, but thought this would be some time out yet. I guess not. Doctors were giving it about 20% chance a year to blow. My two brothers and I have been busy trying to get her house cleaned up. Since Dad died, she let a lot of things slide. We still haven't gone through all my Dad's stuff in the garage yet. It took us two days to split his extremely large firearm and reloading collection. Thankfully the three of us are pretty tight knit, so we can get through this without any real issues. Some families seem to go to war over stuff like this.
  19. Cards sign Jacob Barnes to a ML contract. Wonder if they'll be trading away the bullpen and need warm bodies afterwards. Barnes to Cards
  20. Oakland beat Tampa 4-3 yesterday. It's not just us...
