  1. Why do those kind of hits always happen against us while we get none?
  2. That didn't look like that hit Thames on replay but you could definitely hear it hit his arm guard.
  3. Willimas is a struggling pitcher. Make him throw two strikes.
  4. I'm confused. It was a strike. Are you saying he should have taken it? Yes
  5. If you're gonna hack 3-1 you better make damn sure you get on base. Cain just bailed out Williams there.
  6. Did he get the cookie from what Houser tossed? (Ba dum, Bum) But seriously, Knebel was also on three days rest and rusty, so it's no surprise he started out that inning badly.
  7. Because CC's a simp? Believe me, I considered that as well. But if Counsell really were this stupid he wouldn't be able to walk out to the mound to make all these stupid changes without falling down more often. The minor injury theory is all I can come up with, let the Phillies think they have to deal with him, even if you know he can't go. I'm just grasping at straws here man, lol. If we have a one or two run lead in the late innings tomorrow and Hader doesn't make an appearence then I may believe it, but I think someone outside the organization like a beat writer would know if he's hurt.
  8. Sigh. Disappointing series. I'm really disappointed with Counsell's bullpen management this weekend. What might've been if he hadn't used Logan in a one run game and not stearted Anderson in the sixth.
  9. OMG Counsell, you got Logan up in the bullpen? CC has really ticked me off this weekend. Houser's thrown up two times and you still leave him in to give up another run. Now he's probably going to put in Logan ahead of an overrested Hader and Knebel? I realize the game's probably out of hand but my God....
  10. Turning on Uecker to see what he has to say about all this.
  11. Here's an idea, CC. Pull your obviously sick reliever and put in Hader or even Knebel and get them some work.
  12. Well, let's go get 'em in Pittsburgh tomorrow. Disappointing series this weekend but I have a good feeling going into the Pirates series. We'll take at least two.
  13. I agree with you 100% on this. It's more important to give them regular work than to save them strictly for protecting leads because you never know when that will be. Use them even in blowouts just to keep them sharp.
  14. Yep, and absolutely no hustle there. If he ran out of the box he could have been safe at first. Looked like he hustled to me.
  15. It would help if CC would give those top relievers regular work to stay sharp. It's not the worst thing in the world to give them an inning in games we're trailing.
