  1. I wouldn't say excellent at all. He didn't work one clean inning and struggled at times. It's a small miracle he's only given up one run to this point.
  2. This is the Phillies series all over again for Counsell. Does he have any idea at all how to manage pitching changes?
  3. I see CC didn't learn his lesson from leaving Anderson in an inning too long just to clear his spot in the order. This better not result in runs for the Cardinals.
  4. I have a bad feeling about this.I do not want to get no hit by Flaherty, especially after hitting Cain.
  5. The reason Suter doesn't get respect is because he's a low round draft pick who isn't blessed with great stuff and is probably a #5 starter so people are just expecting him to drop off. You can't really fault them for that either because he has stunk it up in the past. It seems to be the norm for our starters. Anderson isn't pitching all that great right now and he was lights out last season after a slow start and was our opening day starter this season. Guerra, Davies, same thing. We just have to roll with what we have, live through the highs and lows, and hope Nelson returns to form later this season.
  6. I don't know but they beat them 10-0 in Game 1 of the 1982 World Series. Molitor had 5 hits and Yount had 4.
  7. The last game he had more than 1 PA and 0 K was May 22. He has 20 AB the entire month. That has to make it pretty hard to stay sharp. Hasn't done anything to earn more though, so catch 22 I guess. A stint in the minors might be needed just to get everyday AB for a couple weeks straight. Lack of playing time doesn't explain why he strikes out seemingly every time he bats. It's not asking much to at least put the ball in play. If he does that, then we can talk about lack of ABs as a viable reason.
  8. The Big Ragu! Wasn't that a character on Laverne and Shirley? Yes. Killing me I can't post a gif from my phone. Then he'll fit right in in Milwaukee. He's also known as the Michael Jordan of Delaware.
  9. Pina has now hit for the cycle the past two games. Get used to the pine, Kratz. Your 15 minutes are up.
