    What a terrible call.

    I've been waiting for this offensive line to get eaten alive but they've held up well to this point. That may come to an end today, already giving up two sacks.

    Stokes with pretty good coverage. Did everything right but force the incompletion.

    I'm sure there's an analytic out there somewhere relative to kicking off to start the game versus receiving as far as points per game but I've not read it. Maybe, but if you're the decided underdog playing against one of the best offenses in the game, deferring is probably not a good idea, especially when you're defense isn't very good.

    You want to defer to our offense to start the game? You got it. Have fun playing from behind all game long.

    King was playing very well against the Bengals before he went down with the shoulder injury. He is a skilled corner when matched up with the right type of opponent. I realize the narrative is that he sucks, and him being hurt is a blessing in disguise, but in reality, that isn't the case. No, he pretty much blows.

    Savage is a go today but Preston Smith is out along with King again. It's really amazing how someone can be a huge waste of money both healthy and unhealthy.

    Yeah, between that episode and the Astros, I'm guessing Manfred isn't looking forward to attending games in either of those parks or stumbling through answering questions over the next few weeks. Why wouldn't he be looking forward to going to Houston? He's practically a folk hero there for only sitting them in the corner for a time out for bringing the game one of the biggest black eyes in it's history.

    Took the All Star Game? That’s ok we will just host some World Series games.

    I’m not writing off the Dodgers, but I think the Braves are showing that they are a much more formidable team than a lot of people expected. They were always a formidable team that just underachieved the first half of the season and then turned it around and played to to the level of their capabilities. Much like the Cardinals.

    Yeah, Clemson is back to just being another football team now that Trevor Lawrence is gone.

    Called the letdown for Purdue! Now watch the Badgers get pummeled next week.

    Apparently they go to two point conversions exclusively after the second OT. They failed miserably in rounds 3-7.

    A bad football game being played between two bad football teams. LOL at the announcers calling this a good game. Why am I watching this?

    Down goes Penn State at home to lowly Illinois in 9OT. What a bananas overtime period.

    One of those situations when you're better served just going down instead of fighting for a measly yard.

    Penn State and Oklahoma not exactly dominating weak competition. Illinois would be up if not for two touchdown canceling penalties. Well, Oklahoma starting to pull away now, but keeping Kansas in the game for 3+ quarters still not very impressive.

    I remember that game and I have it on DVD, which I watched not too long ago. Howard Cosell took that game off after calling the World Series and was replaced by...........OJ Simpson.
