  1. Gotta hand it to Thames this time. Two run dinger.
  2. If nothing else it's really driving up Glasnow's pitch count.
  3. So what has Thames done since the beginning of May that you would consider valuable?
  4. You just knew Jeffress would never come up with that weak grounder.
  5. If this is Jeffress's first MLB at bat, he's probably not going to even get a bunt down, much less get a hit.
  6. Rob Deer was actually a pretty good player at least as a batter. What I meant to say was Thames either homers or strikes out. An all or nothing hitter. Just like Gorman and Deer.
  7. Which makes his OPS such an overrated joke of an argument. Who cares that his slugging percentage is so high when his 29 home runs are almost all solo shots? The batter has zero control over how many players are on base when he steps to the plate. Unless there is a reliable clutchiness stat out there I'll take OPS as a pretty good stat. Edit: Point taken, he stinks with RISP this year If Thames was clutch he would hit those extra base hits and homers when men are on base. Instead he's a sub .240 hitter that strikes out alot and when he actually does get those extra base hits to drive up his slugging percentage, nobody's on base. EDIT: I just saw your edit now.
  8. Thames is pretty much Gorman Thomas and/or Rob Deer, except when those two homered there were actually runners on base.
  9. He looks safe but inconclusive. Santana didn't put up any argument so...
  10. Wow! I'm shocked! They actually scored more than one run! PARTY!!!!!!!!!!

  12. Bases loaded, nobody out. I wonder what's gonna happen next.
  13. I just think that being in a pennant race right now it's too risky to depend on a green minor leaguer to keep you in the thick of things, especially when we have an offense that has a harder time scoring than Beavis and Butthead.
  14. Would any of you rather have Garza go instead?
  15. Full schedule here. https://www.mlb.com/brewers/schedule/2018-03
  16. Can we just go back to playing championship contenders again?
  17. No they're not good enough, but it would be really nice if they could at least manage to get five hits against sub par teams like the Pirates and Reds, and so far this is looking like another one or two hit night.
  18. Are you kidding? Garza's pitching great, just has alot of bad luck. Ask CC if you don't believe me.
  19. We do great against good teams (Dodgers, Nationals, Cubs) We do bad against bad teams (Giants, Reds, Pirates) We're playing the Pirates, whom we have a 5-8 record against. Have you not been watching this year?
  20. The latest from mlb.com http://m.mlb.com/news/article/253728494/marlins-park-ok-following-hurricane-irma/?topicId=27118122
  21. Am I crazy or was there a dome stadium that had falling panels/debris falling from the roof a few years ago? If Marlins Park's roof is that damaged to the point that could also happen there than the series would be moved for sure.
  22. Didn't the Brewers in their epic collapse in 2014 have like three different 1-11 stretches? Or four in one calendar year?
