    I've stated many times before that the Dodgers were my secondary team but haven't said much about it lately because most everyone here hates them, and I understand why they would. But I've had family ties with Southern California since I was eight years old and grew up watching them as I thought they had the coolest uniforms. Steve Garvey and Robin Yount were my favorite players growing up. I think that qualifies me to be a fan. Having said that, unlike everyone else here I believe the Brewers do have a reasonable chance to beat them in a seven game series. We went seven with them in 2018 and that was with an MVP level Bellinger on their team. On the flipside, I have absolutely no faith the Brewers can beat the Cardinals. Maybe it's Cardinal PTSD because they've always had our number going all the way back to 1982 but that's just how I feel. They always have that October mojo and they're playing better than anyone else right now.

    Looks like it's all but a done deal now. https://www.nfl.com/news/packers-finalizing-deal-to-sign-former-cowboys-lb-jaylon-smith I'm not sure how to feel about this. On the surface I do like the move but this could be a boom or bust move. It definitely addresses a need though. Better than picking up another practice squad guy.

    Only in the first inning of the first playoff game and the postseason umpires are already showing they suck too.

    It helps that the NFC Central allows the season to be one long practice session. NFC Central? Just had flashbacks to Tampa Bay creamsicle uniforms. Also the ugliest road whites worn by the Vikings and super awesome Honolulu blue Lions jerseys, both blues and whites for that matter.

    Yes, Big Ben has not been good and some of these 4th down play calls were questionable, but you have to give credit to the Packers defense for holding the Steelers to a measly three points after the opening drive touchdown. I'm hoping against hope that this will finally be more consistent efforts.
