    I believe pretty much everyone thinks it's both. Alvarez did great things for the program no doubt, but the offensive system is now unimaginative and archaic. It doesn't help when PC doesn't even try to make adjustments with it.

    Cardinals are signing Wainwright to a one year extension.

    And this will probably have an effect on him the rest of his career physically. I don't see how you can be as effective throwing a ball after an injury like that.
