Vogelbach the only batter Morton wants no part of.
  2. PinaMadness
Morton is getting some extra mojo from that chin wart.

    This "offense".

    And a new one starts.
  5. PinaMadness
This looks like a game we'll have to get some early runs.
  6. PinaMadness
Burnes, I mean Morton, strikes out the side.
  7. PinaMadness
We needed that in the worst way. Couldn't ask for a better result.

Whom should I root for? A bunch of cheaters or the biggest scumbag to manage in MLB?

I've stated many times before that the Dodgers were my secondary team but haven't said much about it lately because most everyone here hates them, and I understand why they would. But I've had family ties with Southern California since I was eight years old and grew up watching them as I thought they had the coolest uniforms. Steve Garvey and Robin Yount were my favorite players growing up. I think that qualifies me to be a fan. Having said that, unlike everyone else here I believe the Brewers do have a reasonable chance to beat them in a seven game series. We went seven with them in 2018 and that was with an MVP level Bellinger on their team. On the flipside, I have absolutely no faith the Brewers can beat the Cardinals. Maybe it's Cardinal PTSD because they've always had our number going all the way back to 1982 but that's just how I feel. They always have that October mojo and they're playing better than anyone else right now.

Looks like it's all but a done deal now. https://www.nfl.com/news/packers-finalizing-deal-to-sign-former-cowboys-lb-jaylon-smith I'm not sure how to feel about this. On the surface I do like the move but this could be a boom or bust move. It definitely addresses a need though. Better than picking up another practice squad guy.

Hoping for a Dodgers win because: A. They're my secondary team B. The Cardinals will be NL champions if they win tonight.

Only in the first inning of the first playoff game and the postseason umpires are already showing they suck too.

That hire was a mistake from the get go. Even if he had not embarrassed himself like he did, he would be one and done after this season.

Maybe Cobb could fill in for Alexander for a couple weeks. That was a pretty sweet pass defense he displayed guarding Adams on that one play.

Cue up the local sports journalists coming to defend the honor of Coach Chryst.

Ugh. So who's on the trading block this year? We certainly can't get by on the scrubs we have now.

Hilarious that JK Scott is now trending on Twitter.

It helps that the NFC Central allows the season to be one long practice session. NFC Central? Just had flashbacks to Tampa Bay creamsicle uniforms. Also the ugliest road whites worn by the Vikings and super awesome Honolulu blue Lions jerseys, both blues and whites for that matter.

Ben absolutely telegraphed that pass. Stared down his receiver like he was Mertz.
  23. PinaMadness
He's still doing his best to make you think the game's not over yet.
  24. PinaMadness
Don't worry, TJ, that poke to your eye wasn't intentional

Yes, Big Ben has not been good and some of these 4th down play calls were questionable, but you have to give credit to the Packers defense for holding the Steelers to a measly three points after the opening drive touchdown. I'm hoping against hope that this will finally be more consistent efforts.
