I'd hate to make judgments only one quarter into the season but after 10 years of bad defense it may be time to switch philosophy. Run the 4-3, just anything else. How any unit can be this bad for so long is mind boggling.
Yikes, 10 penalties against the Vikings in the first half, and those are just the accepted ones. About half of those were offensive holding calls. The division might be a cakewalk for the Packers this season.
And alot of them done with four pitchers, one with six. I wonder if anyone here would wet themselves just as much over those. To anyone here I offended by not being excited about a multi pitcher kissing your sister no hitter, I'm sorry.
Let's all remember. Despite the debate we're all having about this, we are all Brewers fans and I don't think anyone will feel disappointed about a championship, or even a World Series appearance.
To be clear I would have loved it without my son watching. It is sports. Have fun with it. If you can't enjoy a no hitter I am not sure what to say. But to each his own I guess I'm not belittling anyone who did enjoy it. Like you said, to each their own. But I enjoyed Houser's three hit complete game shutout more than this. It turned out to be anti-climatic for me. If Burnes had finished it off then I'd feel differently.
