  1. Is the roof going to be open/closed depending on weather? I know its supposed to rain today, but what about tomorrow with sunny/70s? I recall 2011 going to game 5 of the NLDS being baffled by the roof being closed on an 80+ degree day. https://mlb.nbcsports.com/2011/10/07/its-a-beautiful-day-in-milwaukee-so-naturally-the-roof-at-miller-park-is-closed/ Don't even recall what they did in 2018.
  2. Finally can watch a season or two of a few shows over the next week.
  3. Will be interesting to see how this plays out with the Escobar (potential) injury. I mean, we’re covered, but that vet presence…
  4. I mean this in the most respectful way, but, those are a lot of words trying to associate some sort of anecdotal story of yours to his current back issues. He's had back issues in the past; not to mention no injury issues last year immediately following the patella injury. Lets not make this a bigger deal than it needs to be.
  5. No, it does not mean he did not get the shot(s).
  6. I have it on Spectrum, but it's on Bally Sports Wisconsin Plus. Way up on channel 310 for me in Appleton. Also can’t find it on Spectrum at my in-laws in the Eau Claire area. Lame.
  7. The guy made the postseason 2 years in a row, and almost a third while *just* missing it during the last weekend of the season. He clearly knows how to manage a small market team, and I'm very proud to keep him around.
  8. I dunno the Lambeau Field sitdown restaurant they run doesn’t look half bad? https://www.1919kitchenandtap.com/menu Will miss the long islands though.
  9. This this this Yessssssssssssssssss
  10. I was sitting at DJs Goalpost with my pals and I told them I didn’t want Hader doing 2 innings. Honestly I think the worst thing that happened was that long Suter inning and long Pomeranz inning. That shifted everything towards disaster. So damn close.
  11. I'll be going tomorrow night and taking our son to his first game Sunday (10 months old)..
  12. This is quite possibly the worst analogy I’ve seen here. 50+ percent of NBA teams make the playoffs each year. If the brewers make the playoffs two consecutive years it would be absolutely huge for the franchise. From the occasional pretenders to legit contenders. Just a horrible take, and a horrible comparison. Ugh.
  13. I can’t handle watching more than 2 innings of this drum crap. Honestly not sure how MLB allows this. It’s way worse than the “woo”ing in Cincy and I didn’t think that was possible. Even worse with the horn last night.
  14. An ace does nothing for this team. So we "stop the bleeding" every 5 days? No. Our offense needs to start performing to expectations and our bullpen needs to do its job. I say upgrade the bullpen.
  15. Wow... this season has too much riding on it to let this continue for too many starts.
  16. My 70 yr old dad texted me after Arica got the homerun - “jj has no business in this game” and I responded with “you ride the guys that got you here”. JJ warms up and I send “well here’s your pal, dad”... 2 hits later he sends “I hope you are happy...”. My response - “you ride the guys that got you here”... Bases loaded and my dad is literally losing it... my response - “YOU RIDE THE GUYS THAT GOT YOU HERE”. Strikeout finish game. 3x “YOU RIDE THE GUYS THAT GOT YOU HERE”. His response “stress test scheduled for tomorrow”
  17. Haven't really read the thread, but I'd do this trade again in a heartbeat!
  18. Honestly, I just don't get this. Our starters have gotten us to 22 games over .500, so why are we doing this now? I mean, short-term, I get it, Anderson gives up the homerun early and often, but this is a 3 game series... Why not just keep him on a short leash? I could easily see this backfiring and destroying the bullpen for the next few games and/or post-season.
  19. [sarcasm][/sarcasm] If this is true, someone needs to dig deeper and find out more information and get to the bottom of any connection this may have with the outcome of games. Is this what we are resorting to now? Cripes. Season must be over.
  20. Hoping for 3-1, 2-2 minimum and the Cards stay close enough to have a fighting chance and play hard next week against the Cubs.
  21. Cheap tickets are still available for decent upper levels... I am 0-4 when in attendance this year. Do I go and brave the trash from down south? Or accept my curse and watch at a bar?
  22. LOL the Brewers batted through the inning so quickly that the Neil Walker father's interview skipped a planned commercial break.
