  1. With the next 3 games against Bonderman, Miner, and Robertson, then a series with KC - the Crew really has a chance to turn up the heat.
  2. Charlie O'Brian could do what Moeller does and have a larger upside.
  3. Has Moeller even seen a ball yet today?
  4. What are you saving your bench for NED? Get a run here and then you close it out with Turnbow!
  5. Whens Prince move up in the Order?
  6. I do NOT want to see Turbo vs Ryan Howard with the game on the line. End this now! Edit - Thanks. Have some Brews and get some rest Crew.
  7. DP baby I cant handle this ish.........
  8. I used to have to put money on these games in order to get my heart rate this fast. Mark A you have cured my gambling problem! THANK YOU
  9. Ohkas feelings be damned, just get the W.
  10. Really, whats the reason to take him out when he is throwing as well as he is?
  11. Is this a 2 or 3 hit shutout. ESPN box is misleading.
  12. Nobody else noticed Mark A giving Bill Schroeder the total cold shoulder in the interview booth? Please if someone taped or tivoed the game go back and tell me I am wrong. It was so dead obvious to me.
  13. Is it too early to crack the first beer? Its been many a year since I have had the excitement of a contending team(no matter how slight it might be), so my reasoning of going to opening day was to see how drunk I could get. There is some real things going on this year in Milwaukee, and, while I know it sounds real wierd, I am not sure I know how to treat this day.
  14. you play to win Peavey. Yeah you will have to put Hall in the OF for a half inning. 13th inning you have the bottom of the order coming up anyways. I honestly think that was the time to take a calculated gamble.
  15. That said Square, I would rather take my chances with 2 runners in scoring position and one out with a right handed bat coming up in an extra innings tie game 95 times out of 100. Sure, if its the 7th inning, you let Jenks hit, but not in that situation. EDIT - For the record, in no way am I suggesting the Brewers Bench Jenkins, but in situations like this, VERSUS A LEFTY, in the 12th inning, he should have been pinch hit for.
  16. Why are we letting Ned Yost off the hook? Granted Jenks is our highest paid player, but when he comes to the plate in that situation, Ned Yost should have pinch hit. We had Moeller and JJ Hardy on the Bench, as well as Wes Obermuller. All are right handed bats, and other than Moeller, all are skilled at laying down bunts. Ned Yost should have been the man of the clubhouse and sat Jenks down, played baseball the way it is supposed to be played, and moved the runners up 90 feet with the Veteran - Damian Miller - coming up to take care of the rest. PLay to win or dont play.
  17. Weaver still isnt signed and I believe he has another week or so to get that contract ironed out before he will also be back in the draft. Again - A Boras Client, but is teh talent worth the risk?
