  1. This team is really hard to watch right now when we have runners in scoring position and just cannot get a timely hit.
  2. Vogelbach has the best batting average of any current Brewer on the roster against their starting pitcher today. So, you have to play Vogelbach. If you do that where do you put Huira in the field??
  3. A game of inches. If Gyrko picks we are out of it. If the pitched was called a third strike we are out of it. Instead we are down 3-0.
  4. That half inning of 2nd and 3rd no outs and only scoring one is a microcosm of the season. If someone other than Vogelbach could just put the ball in play.
  5. I just turned on the television broadcast. I was driving earlier. Three questions? Is that Billy Hall doing color? If not, who is it? Have they said where Bill Schroeder is?
  6. The top of the 7th inning is in a nutshell why this team is so frustrating offensively. Leadoff double all you need is a ground ball to the right side and a base hit or a sac fly and we score. But, you can see by the approach that we don't even try to do that. Two strikeouts and a weak pop out to first. So frustratingly inefficient!!!!
  7. So frustrating to watch their ineptness with runners in scoring position.
  8. Why Grisham when Perez rakes against leftys????
  9. Braun dogging it for the second night in a row. This time it allows Molina to get to second.
  10. Does he not have enough at bats? Or why would he not qualify?
  11. This post might not belong in this thread but I've got a question: On ESPN's web page stats, Yelich is not listed in batting average stats. He's got a better BA than anyone and isn't listed. Anyone know why that is?
  12. Can someone - anyone - explain to me how Perez who can and has played 8 positions and who was batting 235 with an OPS of 659 (which admittedly is not great) gets DFA'd for a guy who is batting 106 and can't play as many positions as Perez?
  13. I totally agree that CC needs to change the way he handles the starters and bullpen. The bullpen is not nearly as strong this year as it was last year!
  14. Counsell seems to always have some middle infielder in his dog house. Jean Segura is gone and is doing well in another uniform. Scooter Gennett... I'm sure there are others. I was thinking Villar but I don't think he is exactly tearing it up right now!
  15. I don't know where to look for this stat, but it seems to me like the Brewers are striking out at a much higher rate this year compared to last year. Can anybody verify whether that is true or not?
  16. Good for Thames!! And, if I am an opposing pitcher I don't even throw Ryan Braun a strike until the count is 2-0. I doubt it will ever get there because Braun is hacking at everything!!!
  17. I do not understand the strike zone tonight. It is VERY inconsistent both ways.
  18. There is no doubt that this is one of the crappy 54. Terrible situational hitting, poor defense, and giving up 7 runs through 7 isn't going to get you many W's.
  19. It's all fine, good, and wonderful that Yelich continue to rake but we really need to get some other guys going. One guy cannot carry us all year!
