  1. Ildemaro Vargas ties it in the 9th with a solo shot of Andrew Miller!
  2. Eduardo Escobar breaks it up with a leadoff single right away in the 7th lol Let's go DBacks!
  3. Jack Flaherty has a no-hitter through 6 innings. Jack Flaherty has a no-hitter through 6 innings. Jack Flaherty has a no-hitter through 6 innings. Jack Flaherty has a no-hitter through 6 innings.
  4. https://www.nytimes.com/2019/09/24/sports/baseball/24milwaukee-brewers-playoffs.html “Last year was kind of addicting,” first baseman Eric Thames said. “It was a high. The fans were so loud, the stadium was shaking. It was a feeling you can’t ever dream up until you’re actually in it. Now we have that taste, and we want to get back to that.”
  5. Didn't he allow 2 inherited runners to score on Sunday? Or am I missing something
  6. Coming into today, he was 7/24 since he got back from the IL with 2 homers, a double, and 4 RBI. Pretty damn good even before you take into consideration how long he was out.
  7. Clearly hit Hiura. I don’t get it, Craig
  8. I'd put Jackson on the roster over Black. He can be devastating against righties when he's on. Black seems like more of a wildcard right now.
  9. Aubrey Huff is such a miserable human. He proves McClung's point instantly in that twitter spat
  10. Unlikely to happen, but if Cain isn't able to play I wouldn't mind seeing Tyrone Taylor get a start against Brault tonight. Good defense and speed + a fresh set of eyes against Brault who has dominated the Crew this year.
  11. He definitely does not.
  12. I believe the Padres plan to shut Paddack down after his start against the Crew, so I'm sure he'll want to let it rip as well. Dinelson Lamet has been a strikeout machine since he came back from injury, and Lucchesi is a high strikeout lefty which isn't a great matchup for the Brewers. But this team has been resilient and winning close games, I like our chances at home.
  13. Thanks for another year of Link Reporting everyone (Mass, Toby, Reilly, etc). Definitely my favorite part of this forum!
  14. Thanks for the heads up on this! Snagged 4 for tomorrow!
  15. It’s not that I don’t understand your opinion, it’s just that it’s a terrible one that shows how incredibly self-absorbed and completely lacking in empathy you are. I guess you better get to a few more games this year so you can maybe take one last line drive to the face before baseball is ruined forever in 2020 by the dang net.
  16. This is really condescending. Yea it is. I’m tired of hearing this incessant complaining about netting ruining the experience, when a baby getting smoked by a line drive would ruin your experience far more. I don’t know how anyone could watch that Almora clip from earlier this year and not be on board 100% with extended netting. And I just don’t believe these guys saying the netting ruins their view. You can’t even notice it unless you’re looking for it and are dead set on having something to complain about.
  17. Cry me a river dude. Fan safety is far more important than a handful of self-absorbed diehards whining about netting ruining their experience. I’ve sat very close for plenty of games and don’t even notice the nets. This is a great move by the Brewers if it saves even one life.
  18. Nico Hoerner hits a 2-run HR now. This is absurd. With the wind blowing out this is a little league park, what does Maddon have to say about it?
  19. Well Castellanos just hit a 2 run homer. edit: and now Contreras with a solo shot. I can't believe how the ball carries at Wrigley Gum Park, there's just zero gravity there.
  20. Lester allows 3 2-out runs to score, it's 4-0 and Adam Frazier is at 2nd base stil.
