Dubon has been hitting very well this year, with power (.806 OPS). Not sure how he can be labeled meh when he puts up fairly nice numbers throughout the minors at a fairly young age, especially when meh Arcia is above him. Again, for improvement, the bar here is fairly low. I like Dubon, but an .800 OPS in the PCL doesn’t make me think he’ll ever slug much in the big leagues. -
Castellanos on deck, base open, 2 outs, Heyward should’ve been pitched to far more carefully than that. This feels like it’s going to get out of hand at any moment now.

I think having Suter in the dugout every day and lightening the mood could be good for this team regardless of if/how he’s throwing.

I understand we’re facing 2 lefties in a row, but what’s the point of calling up Grisham if he’s not going to play? Better to have him continue to stay hot in AAA vs. not getting ABs for multiple days in a row riding a big league bench.

fuddy-duds! How dare they try to make the ballpark experience more enjoyable for most fans. Teams that are near the bottom in attendance can’t be too choosy. I watch a lot of A’s games, and their fans always seem to enjoy the ballpark experience there very much.
