Same here, love his enthusiasm for the game. If you follow the guy on twitter he's constantly nerding out about/studying other pitchers' stuff and the movement they get. Would love to have the guy on the Brewers.

Error for Arcia on a routine grounder, since he didn’t execute we can throw all of the blame on Carlos Subero.

He’s not out there on the mound missing his spots So you think he’s doing a great job, the players just aren’t executing? Of course some of the blame falls on the players. But if your pitching coach doesn’t bear any responsibility for an entire staff of hot garbage...what is his responsibility? I never said he’s doing a great job, we have absolutely no idea what he does when working with each individual pitcher. The players are absolutely not executing though, and I would say that most of the blame falls on the players for that, not just some.

What was there to makeup though? The call Senzatela and Butera were complaining about was a good call? Senzatela had at least somewhat of a gripe on that no call. That was pretty close compared to that 3-0 strike call.

Guessing Barnes is out tomorrow to make room for Freddy, and that the plan was for Burnes to be the long man out of the pen tomorrow in case of a short start from Peralta.

Seriously. Don’t quite follow Craig’s thought process at all going with Barnes, knowing what we know now with Burnes called up. Unless they just weren't sure he would be here in time. We have no idea when he got the call. True

Braun sitting again, Gamel in LF and Thames in RF. Good sign for those of us wanting a Gamel/Braun platoon, either that or Braunie is banged up.

Thames in RF scares me, but gotta keep that bat in the lineup along with Aguilar after his night last night. Glad Braun is the one riding the pine today.

Excited to see what Jackson can do. No Yelich today, going to be interesting to see how the offense fares without him. Grandal hitting in Yeli's #2 spot, and Gamel playing out in RF.

It doesn’t matter what the record is. How can you watch this team and not see how awful they are in all parts of the game right now? That’s why there’s the doom and gloom. Because I watched last year’s team and saw how awful they were in all parts of the game for stretches, and then I saw them become an unstoppable force to close out the season. Too early to start panicking about anything right now, this team is talented and will win a bunch of games.
