    Brewers are just getting their bad stretch out of the way early. Lose today and we'll be .500, that's about what I expected through this stretch of Cards/Cubs/Dodgers, it's just been painful baseball to watch.

    As I have said before, he is not a needle mover, he is nothing more than a place holder. If the money involved with signing him causes us to not put money into an actual needle mover in the future, I am against this signing. I don't want to waste money on this guy, that could have gone into someone else later. I think Mark will be fine after doling out $2 million

    Agreed, doesn't make any sense. Base open, 2 outs, you put the guy who murders you on 1st and get the opportunity for a force at all 3 bags with DeJong.

    Houser looked great after that walk, and even in that AB the 1st two pitches were borderline. Weak contact from Goldy, DeJong looking like a fool chasing upstairs, and then inducing the GIDP. Nice start
