My optimism for next year is slowly fading.
  2. IntentionalHBP
I watched some of Garcia’s highlights and wow, his swing is smooth.
  3. IntentionalHBP
Since the Dbacks acquired Madbum, Ray might be available.
  4. IntentionalHBP
I don’t take anything from him seriously unless it’s just regular Brewer player updates

Can you relax? You might as well become a Dodger/Yankee fan. Well, yes or no, is this or is that not what they do as far as starting pitching goes. It's a factual statement. The Brewers can’t afford to sign high end FA SP, they have to either develop or trade for them. Why complain about it when you and everybody else knows that they can’t do that.

You hit the nail on the head. The Brewers in regards to pitching sign guys that would normally be back end of rotation guys and make them amongst their top starters. NOT a sustainable strategy. Can you relax? You might as well become a Dodger/Yankee fan.

Just thought this was pretty funny

I feel like 2B is an easier position to field compared to 3B

I know it’s early but I’m not comfortable with the amount of spots to fill with FA and trades when we also have no farm system.
  12. IntentionalHBP
It’s going to be an interesting offseason which is awesome. I’m worried the amount of holes we need to fill though and I doubt they get any of Rendon, Stras, Wheeler.

Did brew crew 92 get banned?
  14. IntentionalHBP
If Moose gets 64 million, what does Donaldson get?
  15. IntentionalHBP
Hader will be traded eventually. It’s tough trading Hader when we are competing because to get him we need MLB impact pieces... from a competing team..
  16. IntentionalHBP
I’m not sure where to ask this but Rosenthal posted an article and one of the main points is Brewers potentially trading Hader. Does anyone have an Athletic subscription? What does it say?
  17. IntentionalHBP
what other information do you have?
  18. IntentionalHBP
100% this. Add in Moustakas/Donaldson and we have something special. Cain Yelich Hiura Moustakas/Donaldson Braun Smith Urias Pina P Of course we could get another 1B for insurance.
  19. IntentionalHBP
Is it possible that they could be cutting payroll and thats it?
  20. IntentionalHBP
Rosenthal tweeted earlier this year near the trade deadline that Padres/Brewers discussed Grisham trade.
  21. IntentionalHBP
Lauer has some solid numbers throughout his short minor league career. 2.93 ERA 178 IP 195 SO 55 BB .236 AVG 1.19 WHIP
  22. IntentionalHBP
I wouldn’t mind if we got Mejia.
  23. IntentionalHBP
Brauns contract is up next year so about $20 millions extra from that as well
  24. IntentionalHBP
Post on Reddit suggests the brewers will rebrand for 2020 and claims to have a worthy source. The news of AmFam park was leaked before the news broke earlier this year as well. Take it with a grain of salt but with Nike taking control of the uniforms and Miller no longer as a sponsor it seems like it could be legit. *REVIEWING THE BREW ALSO POSTED: Brewers 50 year anniversary as well.

Do you not consider the Wild Card the postseason? Because if the scores hold up tonight, they are 1 game out of that. Hardly a miracle with 19 to play. I took it as it would be a miracle for this team to go on a run and actually win a world series - there's always a chance, but realistically I don't think any of us view the brewers as a dangerous postseason opponent even with yelich considering the pitching staff, particularly when they would have to go back to a 25 man postseason roster. Remember this is baseball
