  1. Any reason why Haines isn’t fired? I realize there is a lack of talent but it’s also a terrible approach.
  2. just such a difference watching the Braves move runners unlike the brewers. Contact is something the brewers will need a lot more of next year.
  3. You're a baseball coach? And you think Peralta had a 50/50 chance to score a run on a sacrifice bunt? Wow. Beyond that, why would you possibly want to try bunting the pitcher with one out in that situation. Not cool, obviously you're not a disciple of Coach Cooper. Not coach cooper again..
  4. The Brewers were without a doubt the better looking team in Game 1. We’re they though? Braves would have scored early in game and had plenty of chances. Can’t remember the brewers having much for chances in the 1st game.
  5. To think our 5th best starter in the rotation just cost us this series is absolutely sickening. Beginning to believe we will never win a World Series.
  6. We all knew this much rest was not a good thing for the bats.
  7. Need a run in the 7th. Get 1 back here and then to quote rock, “you just need a bloop and a blast”
  8. Just not good enough from Woodruff and the offense certainly did not benefit from all that rest.
  9. 14 innings of postseason baseball for the Brewers and the only runs came from 1 swing of the bat.
  10. Oh Yelich. Thanks for the 2 years of fun. I think we’re not going to like your next 9 nearly as much.
  11. Who do we think does it? I’m betting Adames or Pina hit a big one tonight
  12. There’s an argument to be made Burnes, Peralta, Lauer and Woodruff should be the rotation going forward in the playoffs. Lauer’s been more consistent since call up.
  13. No confidence in this offense at all against Fried. Need to keep the Braves at 2 as that already seems insurmountable.
  14. Brewers wounded and crawling into the playoffs.. don’t like this at all. For all the articles written about it I Guess we will see how much momentum plays into the playoffs.
  15. I’m not sure where the spot to talk about this is, but what an unbelievably selfish, immature and quite frankly idiotic thing Devin Williams did. Last year he was unavailable for the playoffs and it appears that will be the case this year as well. Thankfully our starting pitching depth will help the pen but the pressure on Hader is now even greater.
  16. Feels like people have been saying this all week. They need to take 2 from the Mets regardless of what the Cardinals do. Team needs to build some confidence heading into the final week.
  17. Craigtember 10-10 if this score holds. Not ideal, not terrible. Yelich is by far the most concerning part about this. OPS+ of 93, slugging below .360 now. Probably time to move him to the 6 or 7 hole.
  18. Would be nice to see Counsell go for a win this week. Craig’s the gambler with an ace down his sleeve that just keeps waiting to use it all while his pot continues to lessen. We went from cutting edge bullpen use to this.
  19. Yelich can “buy” all the tickets he wants but unless he can figure out how to be anything but a 200 million dollar paper weight he doesn’t belong in the top of the order.
