  1. A bit more context would certainly be appreciated. Sorry for not expanding more. Between work and being on the other board, didn’t see this. The account that was tweeting the “rumor” is a brewers world level parody account. Guy throws stuff up against the wall in hopes it sticks and has done so for many years. I can promise you it is not real.
  2. A bit more context would certainly be appreciated. I’m just gonna say it’s fake. That’s all.
  3. This report is false.
  4. This is false. Report is complete BS.
  5. Interesting. He does write for the Athletic so maybe there is some legitimacy to this. I am always skeptical when I hear Brewers rumors since Stearns usually keeps his move close to the chest. He writes for the Atlantic.. still have a ton of doubts.
  6. He followed it up by saying the belief is the Brewers are trying to shed salary by moving Cain. Not sure I believe this.
  7. I really don’t understand acquiring Ender Inciarte. Multiple gold glove winner but his bat hasn’t been good of late. Unless JBJ or Cain are being traded.
  8. If they trade Berrios then it is a full scale rebuild and maybe there is a way the Brewers can get Donaldson without taking the whole contract. Donaldson would be the dream scenario. Only problem is that it doesn’t solve problems at 1st base and Urias has been very solid.
  9. Average has dropped 20 points in 2 weeks. Over swinging, and showing little patience. Probably just a rough spell. What Brewers hitter is currently on a hot streak right now tho.
  10. People acting like winning 2 of 3 against the Sox is a bad thing. And we could still win this game and probably should have.
  11. I agree with what you're saying in the overall picture of the franchise but at what point do you take a shot and go for it all? Even if it means trading top minor league talent. For someone with more than just the rest of the season of control, sure. But not for a pure rental.
  12. Fans are rightfully exhausted after Bucks run and covid is starting to run wild again. Plus they spend money and help our payroll. We deal with it.
  13. Guy deserves every bad bit of karma coming his way. All-time baseball and real life villain.
  14. Not a thing anymore. You can't. I don’t care. Do it anyways haha. This is utterly flippin ridiculous
  15. Why did it take this long until Hook went out there. If nothing else you go out there to calm him down and reassure him this is all soft/fluky crap.
  16. Yelich with a rather ugly at bat. Two hanging changeups. 4 runs feels like enough for tonight.
  17. I don't think the Rays gave up on Adames too early. He couldn't hit there, and while it's difficult to do so, he may have let it get into his head to such a point it was impacting his play. Plus they had Franco to replace him. They almost certainly would have traded Adames in the offseason anyway as they wouldn't have wanted to pay him while having his likely ready replacement on hand. They knew they needed bullpen help so they made a trade they felt would best help them win a championship this year. Sure, and I hesitated even putting Adames in there but I figured people would relate to that. It’s only 1 sentence of a much larger point. Turang is a very good young prospect that should not be and will not be just given away.
  18. We also get another 500k from the 5% overage in Eye Black’s post. If we can get another 250k in savings from our last 4 picks, we’ll be looking pretty good. Granted, I’m pretty clueless when it comes to what it will take to sign these guys, but Riggio and Holten seem like the big money guys 11-20. I’d love to just blow our entire load on Riggio, Vires, and Rogers. Would be around a 550k bonus if you divided it equally three ways. Wonder if 750k Riggio, with 450k and 450k going to the other two would do it. Either way, I think we are definitely getting two of the three, with a possibility of Riggio and Holten if we go all in on the two really big ones. Holten has already announced he will not be signing. Riggio and Vire are the most likely candidates.
