  1. I see a lot of people throwing Turang’s name out in trades and I would caution people that he is still just 21 and hitting fairly well in AA. The power has yet to fully materialize but you don’t give up on 21 year old shortstops with a 60 grade hit tool this early. Look at the Rays and Adames for a perfect example. Any moves should be within the philosophy of the organization: acquire, develop, and retain young talent.
  2. The cost would be extremely high. One of the best pitcher out of the pen. Would make our already good pen even better tho. Williams, Rogers, and Hader. My guess is the brewers find value somewhere else for bullpen help with a lesser price tag. But we can all dream.
  3. I keep looking for outside the box type acquisitions. How about Mitch Haniger to play 1st and outfield? Right handed bat, 1 year of team control remaining, price would be steep but not as much as Gallo. Ian Kennedy would be a nice piece out of the pen that shouldn’t cost a ton.
  4. That’s an underrated aspect of any trades I hadn’t really thought about. Mark giving the green light to be aggressive and spend wouldn’t surprise me after seeing 65,000 fans in Milwaukee stand outside a stadium for a sports game…
  5. I would love Mancini. Fits a really big need at 1st and provides flexibility in the field. Cost is a ton though. Tough decisions loom ahead.
  6. Feels like the team was just planning to take the week off. Hope more effort is shown this weekend.
  7. I would not consider either groundball that was booted hard hit. Again, defense should have made both of those plays but what about the double to right? Or the single to center by Dozier? Those were smoked. and Santana hit his hard as well.
  8. Cant give a major league team 5 outs in an inning. Not sure that is Suters fault. It wasn't exactly soft contact. he was hit fairly hard. but yes, the defense should have gotten out of that with only a run scored.
  9. Just don't have any confidence in Brent Suter right now. Bullpen is by far the biggest need.
  10. It really does feel like Yelich is seeing the ball differently last few days.
  11. If they can keep the deficit at 2 I believe we will score some runs. If it swells any further this game is over. Bullpen should be full go and would hope Hader can go if they tie it up.
  12. He could be the Granderson/Hairston Jr. bat off the bench strictly for the playoffs and even a potential DH in the WS.
