  1. I think you just need more cowbell Ahh, thanks Jet. I really gotta change that avatarhttp://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  2. Are there rehab groups that treat dillusional Brewer Excitement Syndrome? I think I'm in need of an intervention.
  3. Without bringing up his obvious struggles and such, is anyone else uncomfortable watching Davis pitch, even when he does have decent stuff? Believe me, I'm not a Davis basher, but this year it looks like he's fighting himself every pitch. Something is wrong and I just don't know what it is, but I'm getting really tired of watching him on the mound. Here's to hoping something goes right and Davis gets back on track, but there's no denying that he's got zero "stuff" and zero control right now.
  4. Not to look ahead, but if Sheets is able to throw on Thursday there will be an awesome Sheets-Peavy match-up. Or another awesomely bad performance from our ace right before his arm falls off.
  5. It just seems like every game he's in, he gives up a hit or walk to make things more difficult than they were last season. We definitely could use another arm, and I agree his deception is down this year, but Turnbow should have been in there anyway. It's stupid not to use him. Just saying that Wise shouldn't normally be in those situations if Yost was using his best option, but apparently a closer can only pitch in a save opportunity or when we're up 10. Dumb.
  6. Wise isn't the Wise of '05 I hope you're not basing that statement on that ridiculous inning. I could have rolled 2 balls harder than the 2 hits.
  7. Can't even be that upset with that complete fluke of an inning. Total garbage and it earns them a W.
  8. Now's the time, he's struggling Huh? He had 2 hits and a home run yesturday didn't he? He didn't look good against Lowe, but he got a pitch up and ripped a low liner to first. 3 feet either way and it's a hit.
  9. I'm sorry but I just don't agree with Yost (did he even make the call since he's canned?) for not putting in Turnbow here. I hate when we always have to wait to get a lead to use him. Even at home he won't use him in tie games. On a predictable side note, Furcal, who was hitting just over .200, has 3 hits.
  10. Geoff, this is where you come through for us. I have a good feeling with Jenkins. (knocked on wood). He's due.
  11. Atta boy James Jerry! Ueck was pumped.
  12. It's really frustrating we don't have a big strikeout guy who can THROW STRIKES in these situations and intimidate hitters. Wise can get the job done but after that, look out. Come to think of it, put Turnbow in the freakin game.
  13. So... think any Bosox fans are enjoying this one? Grady pulling Lowe debatably early, given the LA pen, then Sveum sending Koskie home on that shallow fly ball? Nice http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  14. In an equally impressive display of offensive ineptitude, the Padres and Cubs are Still tied at 0 in the bottom of the 12th.
  15. Cubs and Padres still scoreless in the 10th.
  16. Rickie, this would be the ideal time for #2.
  17. Hah, Uecker's being a little creepy tonight.
  18. Rockies Win on bases loaded walk! Nice comeback
  19. Man I wish Capuano handled the bat a little better. He's supposed to be a decent-hitting pitcher, looks like he might know what he's doing, but just doesn't have a clue at the plate.
  20. Furcal and Kent, because they are both hitting near the Mendoza line, will each have at least 2 hits tonight.
  21. Meanwhile, the baby bears are in a pitcher's duel with the Padres between Chan Ho Park and Spaz Zambrano in the bottom of the 7th. 0-0
