  1. I am incredibly condifent that our beloved Brewers will, some how some way, find a way to lose this ballgame in classic fashion.
  2. Can someone just tell me if we are going to lose this game so I can spare myself the 30 minutes of agonzing ticker-watching before I leave work?
  3. Say all you want about the numbers, and likely with valid reason, but I never feel comfortable in any game, in any situation, with Doug Davis on the mound. I could not agree more. The numbers seem to indicate he's a sold 2/3, but I am NEVER comfortable watching him pitch, and wasn't even during his better seasons the last 2 years. Anyway, let's hit 10 home runs today!
  4. Is there any other team in the league that would be forced to bring in a Geremi Gonzalez-type in that situation? I don't care how well he's pitched recently.
  5. Wynegar is finally doing his job. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  6. OH MY GOD, VISIONS OF MOELLER!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOO
  7. Jeff Cirillo, I owe you an apology. When it was announced that you made the roster last year, I was appauled. I thought you were completely washed up. Not only are you not washed up, you are the best Third Baseman I have ever seen.
  8. Outs on the base paths are OK as long as you hustle
  9. I'm sensing a 14 K performance by schmidt http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif Edit: Well Rickie helped him out nicely...
  10. The mediocrity thing comes from the fact that when a team sees the Brewers on the schedule, they just think, "eh ok Milwaukee...whatever." I can't imagine another team's broadcast crew saying, watch out the Brewers are coming to town! We are an average team in the MLB. Plain and simple. Living outside of the bubble that is Milwaukee, let me just tell you all a secret...no one cares that the Brewers exist. They don't really mean anything to the league as a whole and are seen as a "Seattle Mariners, a Baltimore Orioles, an Arizona Diamondbacks" type of team. Outside of their own market, they really don't strike fear in the opposing team. Until we establish ourselves in the free agent market, retain key players, and at least be in the divisional hunt or attain the wild card, we're just a glorified version of the Kansas City Royals. And that's the truth!!! Have you tried getting a girlfriend? Spicing up your marriage? Taking up croquet? Collecting cookie jars? I mean seriously, vomiting your constant criticism and harassment towards this organization, even if somewhat warranted, in a small fan forum seems a bit pathetic. I think you just get off on being the irrational outkast, or as you probably see it, the "voice of truth."
  11. Is Carlos Villanueva still on the team? Last time I checked, he was doing pretty good....why didn't Ned bring him in to relieve GG instead of Wise? Or to relieve Wise? That's one I don't get He's starting tomorrow (or Saturday?).
  12. all I know is: A WIN is a WIN is a WIN is a WIN. Why does that seem to fit so perfectly today?
  13. Great googily moogily Derrick, don't put the tying run on with a walk...
  14. Hall strikes out too much http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif Maybe we will see a little bit of Barnwell this weekend. Um, yeah, if the FSN cam pans into the dugout and happens to catch him sitting on the far end of the bench.
  15. Good job by Derrick coming into an unfamiliar situation and mowing down the best hitter in the lineup. Here's to you, Mr. unnecessarily long haired closer guy.
  16. Remember at the beginning of the year when our pitching was awesome? Not at all. Unless you are referring to January 1st - I'll give you that.
  17. Will someone PLEASE toss this guy a salad tongs? http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/mad.gif http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/mad.gif Looks like the 50/50 guesswork on Wise is definitely starting to even out.
  18. There really needs to be a Vegas line where I can place a bet on what Jenkins will do at the plate. I'm pretty sure the odds on a slow groundball to the right side would make you a multi-millionaire. If that didn't do it, just do the safe bet and predict a strikeout.
  19. I guess debating the suckiness of our pitchers is going to happen but just remember that there are no other options to speak of. Hogwash! Are you forgetting Winkelsas? Yeah me too.
  20. And this leads us to the query of the day: Who sucks worse? Kolb or Wise? Answer: It's a tie!
  21. I swear to God, if there are any salad tongs excuses thrown out there by Wise...http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/mad.gif Is it too early to write off this lead?
  22. Helling would be a little scary today under the circumstances (a lead). Well put.
  23. Chad Bad Moeller, 2004-2006 (just because it fuels my anger more): 2004-2006: Avg. 2B HR RBI OPS .208 11 5 27 .568 .206 6 7 23 .624 .205 3 2 5 .562
  24. Is Kolb doing this as some sick revenge for dealing him to Atlanta, where his career pretty much died?
  25. Chad Moeller's name in Greek: FRICKIN IDIOT! I would like nothing more than to take a dump in Kolb's Cheerios.
