    I like this lineup except Chourio 8th. Flip flop him and Mitchell and you are cooking. I know the pitcher is right handed so Chourio should be lucky to be playing but still.

    Check into how often guys like Bobby Whitt Gunner Henderson Jackson Merrell etc have been pinch hit for in there careers. I'm going to say Chourio has already beat the combined total of all three. That is insane considering he is on the same level as a prospect. I do not trust the Brewers especially with Mitchell back to handle this well at all.

    Now is the time play Chourio in right. Mitchell in center and Frelick in left. Make Yelich the dh. Platoon Bauers and Hoskins.

    What I am saying is clear. You do not need or want to pinch hit for Jackson Chourio at any point in the next 8 years. Period. Now if you want to focus on the confidence part of what I said fine. It can't help but the option you are sending up there unless it's Juan Soto ain't a better one given you are not winning a world series this regardless. Getting Chourio to be the next Acuna is the priority. That happens as we saw last month by letting him hit. Is that clear enough?

    This is just not correct. Sorry. The kid is the number 2 prospect in the game. He has an 8 yr future of the franchise deal. He has been your best hitter for a month and had a hit and drove in two runs earlier. At what point is it about more than just today's game? Obviously it it was just about today's game Hoskins would have been hit for as well. Imagine the Padres hitting for Jackson Merrill in a tie game because a relief pitcher is coming in. Madness.

    The Hoskins situation is getting worse not better and the pulling of your best hitter this past month because he hits right handed must be addressed.

    You know Hoskins is a veteran and gets the privilege of getting to be bad. Chourio does not.
