  1. Who is the 1st base prospect that is ready to hit big league pitching this season?
  2. Suarez would have been fall back if Vaughn turns back into white Sox Vaughn. I am shocked at how everyone seems to assume he's going to hit again. There is no question he could easily go back to hitting 175. Hope not but if so they are completely cooked.
  3. Maybe he take Monasterio job as backup everywhere guy? Speed off the bench.
  4. I will agree that the future still appears bright and hopefully Jett will be a guy that can help. I hate trading big league starting pitching. The most valuable resource in baseball. The other thing is we might as well start the Woody trade at the deadline countdown if he's pitching well. Can't resign him Can't let him walk blah blah.
  5. Not mad at all. Just being honest. Brewers are not as good today as they were yesterday. Sorry for caring about winning now.
  6. You could read this as we were thinking Woody wouldn't except qualifying offer once he did Mark said umm hello? You can't have two good starters.
  7. I would hope if the system is that strong you can package a few for a big league player or two. Robert deal the Mets did is what I'm talking about.
  8. This definitely helps me look big picture but still disappointed.
  9. I'm shocked that people are saying we have pitching depth so who cares about Myers. Woodruff Henderson and Gasser are injury questions. Miz is still a question mark imo. Basically it's Priester and Patrick and pray for rain right now. Sproat strikes me as Collin Rae. Hope I'm wrong.
  10. I mean Freddy on last year was always going to be iffy but this deal is a bit worse than I thought and we throwing in Myers makes it really rough. No way Sproat gives us what Myers could have. Brewers better know something we don't about Woody health. Now go spend a few bucks you saved.
  11. Hate giving up two starters when Woodruff is iffy at best. Crazy move imo
  12. The thing about trading Freddy is why trade him to a team you're already chasing? Dodgers should be on the no trade list.
  13. Brewers would be smart to grab Tong in a trade imo. He seems to have the deception they like to work with. I wonder if this is happening because Woodruff excepted the offer. I'm guessing Brewers rethinking that decision.
  14. Bishette to the Mets doesn't help the lockout situation. I look forward to our Rowdy Tellez invite to spring training
  15. This makes it easy on Mark A. He can just throw his hands up and say what do you want me to do?
  16. Let the lockout begin. Enough already.
  17. Contreras about to find out why playing hurt was bad decision. Brewers will not care come hearing time.
  18. What's the chance of Jordan Montgomery taking a prove it deal to pitch this season? I would love to see what Brewers could do with him.
  19. I'm surprised he accepted. I gotta think this makes Peralta more likely to be dealt. I would keep them both but Mark A don't usually roll like that.
  20. Not a fan of this decision. Paying Woodruff 20 million is insane unless this is part of an overall payroll increase. I don’t want to run it back with Ortiz because they spent money on Woodruff and nobody else
  21. Giving Woodruff the deal they did injured and then selling Freddy would make zero sense. Keep him
  22. He's done here for me. Maybe 4th outfield type but if he can't play center 🤔
  23. These three players provided just about what I did in the playoffs this year. If you want to go with that as great deals so be it. Now I'm not saying Brewers were not smart on the margins but your top three salaries can't be zero impact and then cry about Dodgers payroll is unfair. Now let's see if they take that money and find some talent that can help including a shortstop who can hit better than me.
  24. Players will never agree to a cap unless maybe you offer free agency after say 4-5 years. Quicker run to big money but less up side on bigger money? Regardless Brewers have to be smarter than blowing 45 million on Yelich Woodruff and Hoskins.
  25. Need a cf and a shortstop for next season. I would make a run at O'Neil Cruz. He makes sense as a young piece with pop. We have prospects. Ortiz makes some sense for them. Let's keep Chourio in left and Frelick in right. Cruz can play center or moonlight at short. He will be better on a winning team. Brewers need to be bold. I know they won't be but they should be.
