  1. Murphy hasn't learned a thing about using Ashby
  2. Black should be the call here imo but hitting lefty i guess i can see it. If they want another righty bats would rather just see the Jett.
  3. At this point you send have to keep Lockridge and send Mitchell out. The guy deserves it.
  4. Here's hoping Turang is getting that I belong here feeling and has a big time year. If so we will be on who he gets traded to watch.
  5. Zerpa looked fantastic. Very excited
  6. Has Priester pitched at all yet? Is he going to be ready?
  7. Koenig looks rough. Might be trouble for him with all the other lefties in camp
  8. Count me in as someone who doesn't get why we are so anxious to move on from this guy. Unless he wants to be a closer and they have given him the news it's going to be Uribe. Short of him wanting out I think we hang on to him. Uribe track record isn't exactly Lee Smith.
  9. I like that he can switch hit and fill in around the diamond if need be. He has hit prior to last year so I will take it given the options a day ago.
  10. I saw that the Phillies have told Castellnos to stay home. Does he make sense as a bat to add some juice if the Phillies are picking up most of the table? The guy can still hit.
  11. If Ortiz can lay claim to short by being a league average hitter that certainly helps the situation. Brewers have his replacement in the wings so here's hoping he plays well and he brings something great in return next off season.
  12. Hamilton as a bench piece is fine. In no way should he be starting at third base. It's a huge hole and this close to spring options are surely limited. I am hoping there is another move coming.
  13. In looking at it like this i can agree with you that they may have made some moves here that have added significantly to the depth of arms that may make up for the issue i see in the infield. I do know the Harrison kid is talented. Miz Patrick Sproat Harrison Henderson Priester and Gasser should be a great place to begin building the next great rotation. I think we are used to the Brewers hanging on to young players and Durbin qualifys. I would feel better if Ortiz was good for 2024 results not 2025.
  14. Are the Brewers better now than end of last season? Not a chance anyone believes that so what are we doing here? That and once again pissing off the team leader and catcher by going to arby. This team sure seems to make things a bit more difficult than they have to be. Just my opinion of course.
  15. This is where checking in on Suarez would have made sense. He plays third for a year until kids are ready. Unfortunately they dragged their feet and missed out. Ashby Hall Harrison seem to be duplication. One of them isn't going to make it imo.
  16. I definitely feel strongly that we can win now with a couple of moves to bring in mlb ready talent. I do realize they have a ton of prospects so a balance hopefully can be struck.
