True but our bench is probably worst in mlb. There are no good options. That said that's why Hiura would be nice to have around. He can run into one we know.
The Hiura situation has been discussed to death but I would like some kind of on record explanation because if this was any other business questions would be asked about what is going on here.
As this era of Brewers baseball comes to a close there needs to be a study done on the use of resources and the swindled assets of pitching and no hitting. I believe it was an organization failure of epic levels.
I have never seen a Brewers team swing at more 2-0 counts when the pitch is not even close to a strike. It is clear they are being taught to get ahead and swing as hard as you can regardless. Hitting philosophy needs complete overhaul.
Sure I get it but Wiemer is hitting 179 against right hand pitching and it's August. Frelick can't play against lefties but Weimer is Trout? I dunno maybe it worth the ask.
