No idea. Media hasn't asked so i guess he had the nerve to get hurt playing baseball. Now you can argue Vaughn took his job. Nothing explain banishing him to Nashville for a month. It's clear Murphy didn't want him back probably afraid he would rock the boat. Weird situation. He is still second highest paid player on the roster.

Why? Murphy isn't ever going to play him. He's done here. The guy got hurt playing ball so it's weird that Murphy is holding it against him. Just strange.

The relative quality of the offense has masked to Murphy how much he's hurt us. They aren't going to see it this season. It's too late. There are people who still believe his defense outweighs the offense like Monasterio can't throw a ball to first base.

I an all for a stopgap who can keep the seat warm. We have to question if Brewers will spend resources in that way. They more than likely will run it back and hope he improves. What makes this season all the more remarkable is it has been accomplished with one of the worst offensive players in the league.

Another stranded for Ortiz. It's difficult to explain how bad he's been this season. The race is on between Pratt and Made. This spring is would give them both the chance to win the job. How much worse can it be?
