    I could see if Yelich got hurt after the deadline. Knowing he was out and still not getting even one platoon worthy bat is criminal.

    Brewers hitters take strike 3 with men on base so much. Saw a doc about Reggie Jackson. He said he got called out with men on about 10 times in his life. Why? He wanted those steaks. Brewers need that philosophy.

    Brewers have treated this entire season like they did not expect to be any good this year. The fact is you have to play the hand you are dealt and there should have been a pivot that enabled them to take advantage of the opportunity. They haven't.

    Brewers needed a bat badly at this deadline. Frustrating that they thought otherwise. I continue to be fascinated with how tightly teams cling to prospects instead of proven players. It's really something.

    Chourio ends up at 275 and 20 hr it's one of the best 20 yr old seasons of all time. Especially given the state of the game today.

    Yep. Ross in the pen I guess. It's not great but given there's like 50 games left it could be worse. Disappointed about Weimer because they could use a guy like him if he could get it together.

    Williams being back so you slide Megill back a spot will be a big help. I hope he's still got it has a huge couple months and then brings back a bat in offseason.

    Cardinals fans believe they are in perfect spot right now and Pirates fans feel good too. Nobody believes in this team right now.

    It is baffling what Murphy is doing with this team right now. Players have to play but the manager needs to put guys in position to win. He's falling short.
