Late to the party but wow what an amazing series boys n girls !!! 11 game winning streak. Home field vs whoever decides to come play us.... The only drawback is we have to sit for 4 full days ... as hot as we are is that good (for the pen arms) or bad cause sometimes when you’re hot you hate a day off. I’ll take good cause of how our outs are gotten! Great job by CC today going for the throat. And man I love all you guys!! I may get to actually go to Friday’s game as I’m up In Wisconsin on vacation - super excited for that possibility !!!!! Let’s GOOOOOOoOOO!!! -
Another game that should have been easier than it was. We really do need to figure out getting guys in from third less than 2 outs. That will hurt a lot more VS a Dodgers club or any of the AL teams. But it’s postseaon baseball and we get the best of the best strategy and pitching - so I will gladly take 2-0 series lead , maintains the home field in lieu of a game 5. From what I can tell the fans have been amazing and that is something to count as a huge plus. That number one seed can be huge. Willing guys who may not have their best stuff to get outs. I’m very excited about our chances here. And I think the offense will wake up in Coors as well. 2 down, 9 to go!

Not in my experience. AJ has a pretty big chip on his shoulder if you ask me... AJ has always been a turd in the punch bowl... Sort of his way or you won’t hear the end of it. Baseball has evolved . Seems as though David Cone has accepted it and he played even more of his games in earlier years, and it’s almost like he just had shut up and let AJ keep on with some of his rants. It’s funny lol.

Same - guess we need some grit in the lineup for game 2. There was a stretch where Perez was hammering lefties and it made sense but he has been struggling, watching him yesterday I am not sure he should even be on the playoff roster but we should be used to it. Counsel likes him, hopefully he will hit one out today. Yea it feels like a "hunch" with as bad as he has looked lately. Not just results - but eye test. But again, what do we know lol. CC has pushed the correct buttons a lot more than pushed the wrong ones this year!!
