    Question is do we think Huira is a better option than Voit right now? Winker will probably have another month or two to sink or swim. He’s probably earned that right based on past production. It’s not like there’s a great option in the bunch …. Which is too bad. Frelick and Mitchell getting hurt took away some of the excitement of opportunities this year!

    100% agree ! The Mitchell and Frelick injuries sort of soured that. I think we all wanted them to have a shot to start before Taylor and now they are shelved… Blake Perkins… yea no thanks.

    Vinnie is getting better. You could tell he was fresh and new at it to start the year but they really are getting into a groove together. I do like how he’s definitely a homer but not in an annoying way at all. You want your announcers to have some bias right? I liked a couple quips where for us ‘he didn’t go around’ then Seattle was up ‘see, they went around there’. They also seem to really enjoy what they do. That’s not a given. There’s a lot of announcers across the league worse than that paring. We have been spoiled with Ueker , BA, Matt V, Jim Powell, Rock (to a point haha), heck even Daren Sutton. Rottino and Levring will only get better together as well and will make less mistakes as they go. Makes it enjoyable to watch.

    It’s been said, and I’m a believer In it that Charlie Greene is some sort of guru with these guys who are suspect defensively, come here, and are at least decent, if not noticeably good! Small market teams obviously have to do little things like that well (pitching lab, catching lab etc) to make up for not being able to get the most expensive or obvious toys. The Brewers have consistently done this really well.

    HOT TAKE - Yelich will become near his MVP self again. This is the optimism thread right? :). This team is much more fun to watch than the last couple years, already, and we still have Frelick knocking on the door.... Urias to come back... and this #1 prospect in baseball fella waiting in the wings....
