Funny, my kids who could care less about baseball came running in when they heard the song.
-
Houser looking good tonight. Gotta reward him with a couple runs here.
-
Now let's turn a double play.
-
If he catches that he's out! Give the hitter credit though , shortened his swing and hustled to second
-
Would like amend a comment earlier, want say to I don't think they suck! But I stand by my comment that this team has alot of holes and it would have cost too much to fix it at the deadline.
-
Willie nailed it. This roster is flawed top to bottom. DS knew he messed this up in the off season. No reason to spend assets on a team that has too many holes.
-
That was truly a hard game to watch ! As owb touched on , having a automated strike zone might help quite abit. Having umpires mis a ball or strike can Chang's a at bat dramatically
-
Terrible feeling we r going to pay for the terrible play.
-
Crap, pitch almost hit him.
-
Gotta say the ump has a tight strike zone tonight.
-
Hard to watch Peralta. So inconsistent.
-
These walks are great, be nice to see a hit here. For the most part got dominated by a rookie again.
-
Over all our pitching stinks and was priority 1 at the deadline, but man our offence is pathetic . We can make mediocre pitches look like cy young. Homerun or nothing. It's seems to be this way for the most forever.
-
This offence is offensive. Seems we are always playing from behind.
-
How many times has Thames looked at called strike three, has to be leading the league.
-
Can't win them all, cubs got timely hits today , took advantage of walks and some shoddy defense. I'll take two. Tuff spot for Stearns . We have a few glaring holes and quite frankly not alot of ammo to work with. Two weeks ago I was on the sell bandwagon, I think maybe with a couple of small additions we can stay in this until the end then u never know ! Hoping we see a move or two tonight (speculation) at the very least it is alot of fun being in contention. It wasn't always this way in the past.
-
Looked like Taylor made dbl play ball, how can catcher beat that out. Give him credit, nice hustle
-
Can u believe the balls on Happ ! Walk three times and complain on a strike. Wow.
-
Not gonna lie. When they did not offer Miley I wasn't to bummed by it . Figured that we had our three young guys that looked real promising, unfortunately only 1 has panned out as a starter. I think we will see something happen tonight. Hindsight is easy.
-
Good , got to the bullpen. Game on now.
-
Just missed it.
-
Knew it was trouble when he let the curveball right down the middle go. Bummer.
-
Arcia . Nice at bat. Couple of swings were weak. I'll take a walk there , best we could hope for out if him.
-
Just turned the game on. Yikes ! Oh well , sweep would have been nice. Still early though.
