    Apparently he never played Little League, where they drill that rule into you from the start. Ah well, they got a couple back.

    Yeesh. The 3rd base ump has yet to see a check swing that isn’t a strike.

    So if the batter hits the catcher’s mitt when swinging forward, it’s catcher’s interference. But if the batter hits the catcher’s helmet on the backswing, it’s batter's interference. Despite both situations being caused by the catcher’s poor positioning. Gotta love the nuances of the MLB rulebook. Oh well. Freddy day tomorrow, go Crew!

    Just echoing other people’s sentiments here. Woody is the man. He is the clear ace on most clubs and probably the ace on this one. More importantly, it feels like the Brewers just look better when he’s around - even between his starts. I don’t have stats to show it, it just feels that way. It seemed like the season turned around when he returned earlier this year. I’m bummed but not giving up hope. Get well soon Woody.

    A quick Google Images search reveals that throughout his career Listach appears to have always worn a number that was a multiple of 4. But I also couldn’t find him in a #4 Brewers uni.

    I’m just glad I can finally change the autocorrect on my phone. “JBJ” will no longer correct to “why does CC keep letting this guy hit?!?!” Now I’m gonna have to replace that slot. I’m thinking I’ll replace “yeli” with “Seriously? $26MM for yet another roller to the right?” Other suggestions are welcome.
