Tons of baseball fans in Miami? Ehh. New ballpark, comfy setting with retractable roof.... idk. I know a few season ticket holders here. The park is convenient to downtown, it’s air conditioned, and the beer is cold. They consider Marlins Park to be their local sports bar. Often when I go to games with them they spend much of the time at the bar watching other sports on TV. On a related note, they have much more disposable income than I do.

I live here in Miami and typically get out to the Brewers series every year. Lately they’ve been late season series, and the typical crowd is definitely less than 2000. Mostly Brewers fans.

Random question for you guys. They’ve been showing these commercials for StatCast by AWS, constantly. Have any of you seen the output from this? I always see the commercials, but never a stolen base prediction. Am I missing something?

Here’s my unpopular opinion. I don’t think Shaw deserves to lose his job to injury, regardless of how well Kiura was performing. Let’s let Shaw try to work back into a groove, and if he is still not in the groove by the All-Star break, then it’s time to make a decision. Either way, I’m glad it’s not my decision to make!
