  1. Also, Houser needs to be yanked. The Pirates!!! are all over him. Ugh.
  2. How many freaking infield hits is this team going to give up this year? And how many runs will that cost us? This is so, so frustrating to watch.
  3. Is this really a BIG INNING for the Brewers?!?!? Edit: I just didn’t expect to see one of these anytime soon
  4. Thanks for this. I get it now. The netting is just a new ground rule that plays differently than I expected.
  5. I just looked at one of the Sox forums, and it seems they agree it’s fair play. I’m happy, I just don’t understand the rule with the netting all the way out there.
  6. You had to say it, huh? My bad. Won’t make that mistake again. It was just so quiet in here.
  7. 5 straight Ks, 2 strikes to the next batter, and a minute later you’re down 2-0. Baseball.
  8. Yep. The bunt itself was perfect. The play was an abject failure.
  9. Yup. I was shocked when I saw Gamel held up. That bunt was absolutely perfect.
  10. As upset as I am about both Counsell and Hader, I’m trying to keep in mind that outside of Hiura’s double, the Brewers didn’t threaten the Nats whatsoever after the second inning.
  11. I completely understand, and feel the same way, but my most harsh feelings are reserved for Hader, Counsell, and the decision making that went into letting Hader continue to pitch even after getting into a deep jam. He should have been pulled after the HBP and the several pitches that were clearly way outside of his target. Grandal (ironically) saved Hader’s bacon a couple of times. Why did they even go to Hader in the 8th? Pom was comfortable and doing his thing. That was a CYA move by Counsell, and boy did it backfire. Just a bad decision, period. Thankfully this is just baseball. I’m extremely disappointed, but next season is around the corner. Let’s go get some pitching, pretty please!
  12. Literally everybody in the stadium thought Suzuki just hit that ball out of the park. Woodruff hung his head. Somehow it stayed in.
